Mavis watched the entire scene with her eyebrows furrowed. When Elle had stabbed someone's eye in order to protect the human girl, only then did her eyes lit up and her smile widened evenly on her face. She looked at Elle who had now turned apprehensive as she had angered the vampire noble even further by destroying his eyes.
Mr Lengsteon is known for his uncontrollable anger. He was always withdrawn, well to be more specific, the vampires who saw how he was brass and barbaric had shunned him which perhaps resulted in his personality being even more twisted by days. These days rumors had it that his favorite pastime is to buy humans illegally and then make them suffer through hell to fulfill his sadistic tendency.
What Mavis didn't expect was how willing Elle was in protecting someone she doesn't know. Someone she should never have seen before until today.
Mavis slowly put her smile while continuing to stand still on her feet.
