Elle curiously looked over the hallway. She was grateful that tonight is a quiet night which allowed her to slip from one place to another and trace the way to Count Arthur's study room. As today he is away from Raindawn, she has a lot of time to go through the secrets that was hidden there.
As she passes a few hallway she heard a few whispers and the bright light that made her to immediately run away and hid behind the pillar. Turns out it was two maids who had walked pass her while holding a lamp and a few objects on hands, "Lady Gladys hurt Penn again."
"She has been agitated these few days and it's all because of Miss Estelle," replied the maid while rubbing her wrist that seems to be bandaged.
"Are you holding a grudge because Lady Gladys hurt you? Even without Miss Estelle you know that Lady Gladys will punish us physically for any small mistakes."
