Caroline had pushed himself from her bed. The soft swan feathers covered the entire floor underneath her feet. She looked at the mess she had made when she vented her anger the other night to the poor pillows. By using the paper knife, she had cut open all the pillows in her room, and destroyed all the paintings that were hung on her wall. She still couldn't forgive her father. Her dearest father who had not only slapped her face then denied her to go to the ball in the castle!
Everyone could go there but why can't she go?!
Caroline's jaw tightened. Remembering her father's face also made her recall Elle's golden eyes. A sudden anger flared and she smashed her hand to the bed, yelling a heart piercing scream.
