By the time of the next month, Estelle spent her time in the garden. Magnus had built a small wooden parlor in the middle of the garden where the sun hit the brightest but never the hottest. He spent his time with her, mostly just sitting beside her while reading books and then helped her whenever she felt walking was far too cumbersome to do.
As her stomach grew bigger, Magnus's expression turned worse but he always mustered a smile when he looked at her, feeling that though his heart was torn he couldn't be spending his time sorrowfully with her.
The people in the castle grew wearier as months passed by but they hadn't received any other way of dissolving the curse. They had gone from concocting potion, asking the help of sirens, and even went as far as trying to make a curse to no avail.
