Caroline was on edge as she's been haunted by this ghost, "Leave me alone! I'm trying to pay for mistakes, please just leave me alone!"
"Not so fast," taunted darkness, "Simply because you want to change doesn't mean that you can walk skin free. Your mother paid for her mistake, your father died with it, and what about you? Will you simply ask for forgiveness? You know that's wrong Caroline. You aren't such an ungrateful person aren't you?"
Caroline looked at Darkness who had her face but more sinister and that reminded her further of her own action to Estelle that made her fret in her feet. She pursed her lips, "I- I.. then what can I do?"
"Pay your mistake with your life," said Darkness, pointing it out with her index finger, "Your life. Give it back to Estelle."
"I don't understand," she said with a cry, "What do you want from me?"
