Death was now hanging like a noose around Arthur's neck. He didn't want to take a single step backward, knowing that it would lead him to a painful death. In a span of hours he had turned old, which was one of his fear, as he didn't want to become one of those old men who could only be cared for. He still wanted to stay in his prime of age, not knowing that tonight everything would crumble so easily. He had aged in mere hours and was now forced to beg for mercy for his own life.
"S- STOP! STOP MOVING!" Arthur scrambled as he couldn't find anything that would defend him. With each time the tip of the blade move closer to his chest, he could only find himself to step backward, fearing that he would stabbed or fall to his death which he didn't want to experience both!
