As Lilah shuddered at her comment someone else had made an appearance and grabbed her shoulder from behind. She was about to hit the other person in question but saw Maximus who is a part of Magnus's member of men and stopped.
"Forget talking. None of these people are alright in the head," being a person who had faced off many of the Saintess Cult members, Maximus knows well what kind of people had entered the group. All these people were not there because they enjoy killing, sometimes it was something even worse. None will have any innocent reason. They were truly the worst of worse who kills for ecstasy.
"I can take care of this alone," Lilah assured him, "Don't you have somewhere else to go to?"
Maximus sighed, "Servius told me to be here. He didn't want more blood of people to be shed. You have never fought a Saintess Cult member before don't you?"
Lilah smiled, "Are they really any different from the people I had killed?"
