Magnus could see the determination on Estelle's eyes thus making him to feel a certain rage in his heart. He shook his head again, "My life is nothing," he remarked firmly. "Your safety comes first. In first place it was my fault for not being too careful. I didn't expect him to lace his weapon with poison but you should always expect the worse from your enemy. I did wrong, I suffer from it."
"Do you want me to simply let you waste away now?" Estelle inquired back at him, finding him who was having a hard time to force his words out of his mouth, doing everything he could to speak properly by clenching his teeth but could barely do so.
Magnus himself was holding himself back. He could feel every time he let his guard down, a certain attack of pain agonized his body. Here he thought he had suffered all the worse type of pain but he didn't expect there would be such a pain that would be more excruciating than ever.
