Estelle trembled upon seeing the ghostly figure. Its eyes were staring at her, gouging her expression. But what feared her more was how this ghostly creature seems to know how desperate she was in gaining power. She would have usually refused at once but as if compelled, she couldn't take her mind away from the tempting offer made by the ghostly figure.
"How?" She gasped upon hearing she had spoken.
It scared her as her mouth spoke against her will, her eyes were affixed at the ghostly figure as if she was about to abide by whatever the creature ordered her to do.
"Give me something in exchange," the ghostly creature raised its pale skinny arms, pointing its index finger toward her.
Estelle felt her hand trembling, a sudden fear of this uncanniness made her nauseous more than ever.
"What do you want?"
She spoke again! Again against her will!
