Her mother ran. Both Cahonos and Old John helped her to ride the horse as they gallop towards the forest. It was just a few minutes after they left when they heard an earth shattering growl. It was the cry of a dragon— a voice that they had never heard before and it manage to shake the entire forest, causing all animals whether birds, squirrels, or deers to ran out of the forest for the fear of the strongest predator that had been enraged.
They were chilled by the thought that they had actually spoken to a real dragon— a dragon who could have easily killed them.
