Magnus and Estelle had returned to his study room. Along with Roland and Servius, the room felt so stifling with more unnecessary members, thought Magnus in his mind.
He could see Wednesday hanging around near the door as if that boy didn't have his own job. The boy was glaring at Roland, apparently slightly annoyed by how Roland had treated Estelle and he smiled at the thought of changes that Estelle had brought to the castle.
Even Roland who would usually be hostile to humans were more accepting to Estelle than usual.
On the other hand, Estelle was happy to see Magnus arriving back to the castle. Her smile bloomed upon seeing him.
"How was your work today?" Estelle asked him who looked back at her with a smile, "It was well. As I have told you yesterday, I managed to drive away the root of evil, don't you think I'm quite commendable?"
