Magnus's threat which he considered more as a "warning" was enough to finally put an understanding in the elderly minds of these men. They had now schooled themselves, none daring to show a look of haughtiness to Magnus. Decimus also feared Magnus from the start, it was an uncanny feeling that only humans would feel when they faced to a creature that was far superior than them. They didn't need Magnus to actually showcase his power. They can simply feel the air of the difference.
"E- Even if you threaten us, there is nothing you can do about being punished for burning down the Vernon Household." Decimus still needed something to reign Magnus even though he feared the man.
