Lady Gladys's hands were still trembling. She rushed toward her room where she had walked out from and upon entering, she snapped her eyes toward her daughter who she had found listening in to the conversation of the two most frightening people Lady Gladys had ever seen before.
"What have you been doing?!" Lady Gladys pushed the food to a plate that was empty and rushed to her daughter who was still in a daze sitting at the bed. "Do you know how dangerous was it?!"
Caroline immediately stared blankly at the candle that flickered beside her. She slowly turned her brown eyes toward her mother, her face was filled with cuts, something that made Lady Gladys to flinch. Seeing it, Caroline turned away, looking at the wall as she kept the conversation, "Mother you don't understand! Those people they are… they are from the Saintess Cult!"
"And?!" Snapped Lady Gladys. "By knowing that what can you change?!"
