Elle recalled her body trembling. She remembered well how she panicked as a man got over her body while there were others who were prepared to beat her or kill her. All that happened in a blink even though she didn't think she deserves to be subjected to such danger. She had always wondered why Caroline hated her to such extent, going so far as trying to kill her despite knowing that she will leave the mansion soon and that she hadn't done anything that had hurt her.
