Elle slowly reached out her hand to hold Magnus's long ones. While she traced his long fingers, she felt sad to the past that Magnus had gone through. From his father choosing another woman and ends up being killed by the saintess along with his mother. The sudden death must have had impacted him terribly. Magnus saw her trying to comfort him by massaging his fingers and pulled a smile.
"I don't remember about it anymore. It's nothing for you to be sorry about," he said.
"I promise I wouldn't repeat what happened today but," Elle said and saw him frown but she continued, "But I hope you understand that I don't want you and your aunt to have a grudge against each other. If there is ever a rift caused by me, I would forever be guilty of it."
"I know," Magnus said gently. "While I don't understand it, I won't stop you from it as long as you are with me when you meet my aunt or people I deem t be quite dangerous."
