Canary present herself to be an easier to talk woman now that she had taken a seat and put down her cold attitude. Roland had been staring at his mother whose action was so far apart from their expectation where she would grab Estelle by her neck or even began naming the tortures she could bring to make Estelle die in pain. Roland didn't want Estelle to be harmed but her action was the complete opposite of how she is usually.
Even Magnus was aware of the oddness with how quickly his aunt, Canary Frost, seemed to be holding herself together. If one has to illustrate her, she would be slightly insane with her only reason for keeping her sanity is by surrounding herself with her family members.
