In the manor of Logan, Mavis anxiously walked back and forth while waiting for her father's arrival after his visit to the castle. She had seen his carriage from the window of her room and rushed towards the door to find her father with a deep frown between his eyebrows. Seeing Mavis, the man huffed even louder he took off his coat to the servant and snapped his eyes to Mavis, "What are you doing standing like a statue? If you don't have anything better to do why don't you write letters to the Lord? Express your concern will somehow soften his heart for you! Why do I have to reiterate this for you so you will understand?" The man clicked his tongue while Mavis's eyes narrowed sharply.
She schooled her expression and showed a smile despite her initial irk hearing her father's words. Instead she asked, "Did you see the girl with the pink hair? Her name is Estelle from Vernon house."
