The carriage's seat was extremely comfortable to the point of uncomfortableness. Elle had never sat down in such an expensive chair, making it more unsettling for her as she felt overwhelmed with how things had occurred. She kept a close watch to her surroundings outside the carriage but having gone nowhere except for the slums and the towns nearby, she didn't know where they had gone or which town they have arrived to. All she knew was how she was brought away when the evening just became night and now the once dark land had turned golden upon the appearance of the bright sky. It was perhaps ten hours since her carriage had moved and they still haven't arrived.
By the time she had lifted the curtain, her golden eyes brightened as she met the world's brightest star— the Sun.
