Elle was brought aside by Count Arthur, he made sure they were far enough from Magnus, at least in a distant where seeing her would be blurry so he wouldn't have to listened to their conversation. As she followed him, she saw Tieran who was still bandaged by wounds around his face, as if he had just came from a terrible war and yet he still attended the ball because of her presence.
"Did the lord-"
"Did he do anything to me? No," Elle replied before her father could finished. She looked at him and sighed, "Trust me when I tell you that Lord Magnus would never harm me. At least not until I harm him first, that is what I'm certain of. He isn't crazy, Count Arthur. Perhaps he is to your eyes but to mine he isn't and I know well he is one of the only few people who won't harm me."
