Elle waited for Magnus's familiar chuckle but when she saw him his eyes were beyond happy. A cruel smile appeared on his lips but his eyes were full of wonder and giddiness as if he had found a present from his toothfairy under his pillows. Elle had never seen such a bright smile from him and his eyes that sparkled like the stars around the moon.
"Good, I knew it. I knew you would know what I was thinking," he whispered in such a happy tone that Elle couldn't help but feel happy that he was glad she had found the correct answer. "Well there is another way to that answer. I could simply take away that flower and pluck it by its roots, maybe I could hide it away in my precious bedroom and admire it every day but that would kill the flower. There are some flowers that would wilt when it is shielded away from the sunlight, though I don't mind it, I would hate if the flower dies."
