Chapter 10 - CHAPTER NINE :JOURNEY OF DETERMINATION

Richard packed his suitcase, he carefully read the letter from the bodyguard training program again. It said that the training would take place at a remote location and would require trainees to stay on-site and eat all of their meals there. The program sounded incredibly intense, and Richard knew it would be a challenge. But he was determined to succeed. He closed his suitcase and took a deep breath. It was time to go.

Richard's mother tried to hold back her tears as she watched him carry his suitcase to the sitting room. The thought of him leaving was difficult to bear, and she wasn't sure if she would be able to keep herself together. She knew it was an opportunity he couldn't pass up, but it was hard to let him go. Richard put his suitcase down and gave his mother a hug. "I'll be okay, Mom," he said. "I promise to write to you every day." Cynthia was also struggling to hold back her emotions. "You're going to do great," she said.

"My dear son, may the heavens be with you," she said, her voice trembling with emotion. "Take care of yourself and remember that you'll always have a home to come back to." Her love and concern for him were palpable, making it difficult for her to bid him farewell.

Richard hugged his mother tightly, feeling the weight of her emotions in that embrace. "Thanks, Mama," he said, his own voice filled with gratitude and determination. "I'll make you proud, and I'll always keep you in my heart no matter where I go."

Across the room, Cynthia watched her brother, her eyes wide with disbelief that he was about to embark on such a significant journey. She had always known he was brave, but this step was beyond anything she had imagined. Pride for her brother swelled within her, but it was accompanied by a sense of longing to have him close.

As Richard released his mother from the hug, he turned to Cynthia, who couldn't contain her emotions any longer. Tears welled up in her eyes, but she managed a shaky smile. "I can't believe you're going this far," she said, her voice catching.

The three seen embracing was a touching scene both were crying apart from Richard he was sad but why show it?.

If you don't write us back am coming there my self Cynthia said

Richard laughed don't worry you will always hear from me I promise.

make sure you take care of mom and don't stress her out too.

With their emotions intermingled, the three shared a tender moment of family love and support, knowing that this was a significant chapter in their lives. Richard's journey to become a bodyguard was about to unfold, and they would be there for each other, no matter the distance.

As Richard's taxi drove away from his home, he watched through the window as his mother and sister waved him off. He couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nervousness about the journey ahead. The road stretched long before him, and he knew that the training facility was quite a distance away.

The journey was a slow one, but as the hours passed, Richard's anticipation grew. He kept thinking about the challenges and opportunities that awaited him at the training facility. The letter had provided a map, guiding him to his destination, and he followed it diligently.

Finally, around 3 pm, Richard arrived at the building facility. It was an imposing structure, standing tall and commanding respect. As he stepped out of the taxi and took in his surroundings, he felt a surge of determination. This was the place where he would shape his future, honing his skills to become a bodyguard.

With his luggage in hand, Richard walked towards the entrance, ready to embark on this transformative journey. He knew that the days ahead would be rigorous and demanding, but he was prepared to give it his all.

As  Richard stepped into the building, he couldn't help but feel a mixture of anticipation and nervousness. He was greeted by a voice that echoed through the corridor, accompanied by laughter. Following the sound, he turned and saw Mike I knew he's gonna make it anyway.r Richard whispered

Congratulations kid let's see how much you last.

They burst into laughter again .

"If anyone's going to wash out, it's you," Richard said, standing his ground. Mark's expression changed from amusement to anger in an instant. He leaned in close to Richard, towering over him. "You think you're tough, kid? You're out of your league here," he growled. But Richard refused to back down. "Just because I'm not as big as you doesn't mean I'm not tough," he said. "I'm not going to let you push me around." The tension between them was palpable, but Richard wasn't about to let Mark get to him.

As Richard and Mark were locked in a staring contest, a man suddenly burst into the room. "Hey, you new recruits!" he yelled, his voice booming. "Get over here and register your names! And bring your acceptance letters!" Richard and Mark were both caught off guard by the man's sudden appearance, but they followed his instructions and went to the table to sign in. As they did, the man looked them both up and down. "Looks like we've got some feisty ones here," he said with a smirk.

John, who is a  retired soldier, continued speaking to the new recruits.a s he was registrating there names  "This training is about more than just physical strength," he said. "It's about trust, loyalty, and teamwork. You have to learn how to work together, even when you don't like each other. That's the only way you'll be successful as a bodyguard. Do you understand?" Richard and Mark both nodded, as they listened to John's words. They knew that if they wanted to succeed, they would have to follow his advice.
