Upside down world.
"This place... is really... different from our world" Robert couldn't help comment as he observed his surroundings when all three crawled out of the portal. The entire sky was dark without moonlight as yellow and reddish clouds covered the sky.
Robert also notice small red lighting flashing sometimes making this place look more terrible. "This place... looks and feels strange" May said as she took a fallen black leaf in her hand and crushed it, the leaf cracked like it was dried for a long time.
"Ergh...!! The trees here are covered with the same sticky liquid we found on the monster" Joyce by mistake put her hand on the tree and her hands was covered with the sticky liquid. Robert looked carefully at the tree and notice that many parts of the tree trunk were covered in the same liquid.
"Maybe... there are more of those Demogorgan monster here. Be careful and let find Will" Robert's words made May and Joyce hold their guns tightly. "Let's search my house first" Joyce said as mother and son duo nodded.
"T-This is my house" Joyce cried out in surprise as they were busy looking at the surrounding didn't notice the change in the house. Byers house was covered in vines as if it was abandoned for a long time. May twisted the door handle but the door didn't opened "Tsk... the door is jammed"
"Let me try" Robert said as he kicked the door, the door broken and fell down. "My door!!" Joyce shouted in disbelief as her mind was filled with how much money could be required to repair it. Soon she saw May and Robert's strange looks, then it dawned on her that this isn't her real house "L-Let's go... and find Will" She said with a flushed look.
All three walked inside the house and began their search. In 10 minutes, they knew that Will wasn't here but there were few signs that someone lived here. "*THUMP* Dammit... Will didn't stayed here for long" Joyce angrily kicked the chair knocking it down.
"Will must have gone to places where he feels safe. A monster must have attacked here as the front door was broken by brute force, and that scared Will to run away" Robert analyze the situation.
Hearing his words made Joyce and May nodded as they knew Will well and this was the best option for him. "He must have gone to his friends house means yours, Lucas, Dustin, Mike or maybe even school or maybe to the police" Joyce said with confidence.
"No, with Will's shy and fearful personality he will definitely not go mine or Dustin's house. Both of our homes are a bit away from the town and even his own house looks like a haunted house. Our houses will surely look more haunted." Robert explained making both ladies realize this point.
"So our search is narrow down to Mike, Lucas, school and police building. Let go to Mike's house first" May said which wasn't objected by anyone. They all have brought Robert's and his friends bike to travel, as they didn't knew if the cars in this world works or not .

30 minutes later.
Robert and two ladies rode their bikes silently as they had encountered various monster on their way to find Will. Seeing those monster which were similar to animals in the normal world, strengthen Robert's belief that this was a parallel world.
But the situation in upside down world was like a post-apocalyptic world. At first Robert wanted to take a small animal to their world to see what changes have occurred in their body. But May stopped him and said to focus more on the current mission.
"I can see the school" Robert said as he stopped his bike. May and Joyce also stopped and took a look at the school. "Hiss~~" All three took a deep breath looking at the school in front of them. If they compare those previous house to this then it was like comparing a child to an adult.
All the house looked they were abandoned by others but the school looked like that someone was living inside there. And all three knew that their will be few monster living inside the school.
"Okay, let make a plan first." Robert said as May and Joyce nodded their head. They decided to enter through the auditorium first and later search each of the class, Robert couldn't make a perfect plan as they don't know which paths were opened or closed in the school.
All three first hide their bikes so even if there is any danger inside the school they can escape. They came infront of the auditorium door which blocked but few vines. Robert forcefully pushed the door opened *KKEEE* the sound caused by friction between the door and the floor broke the silent atmosphere of the school.
*ROORR*
When the door opened a voice which seem to be made by a monster was heard, Robert's and others face turned instantly. "Hide under those seats" Robert pointed to the audience seats and said. Without delay all three hid under those seat but kept an eye to have a good look at the monster.
Three pairs of eyes looked at the door which lead to the school hallway but was blocked by some black sticky mass with a hole in it for an adult person to pass through. Soon the sound of something running towards them was heard.
Suddenly five shadows passes through the hole and appeared in the auditorium. Robert and the ladies were surprised to see such a creature. The creature was the size of a medium size dog with conical face similar to the Demogorgan.
'Should I call them demo... dogs? Yes demodog is a good name' May and Joyce didn't knew that in Robert's mind naming this monster was more important than anything else. After the demodogs came near the opened door they made a similar actions as if they were sniffing like actual dog.
With their sniffs all five demodogs turned to the place were Robert and others were hiding and opened their faces same way Demogorgan opens his mouth.
*RRREERR* *RROOEE* *RRUURR*
With their shouting they ran towards Robert and others hiding place. "Shoot them!!" Robert yelled as he used his psychic power to hold 2 demodogs in place and crushing their heads.
*PUFF* *PPUFF* *PPUUF*
May took aim with her rifle and shot another two demodogs while the last one was killed by Joyce who first shot the monster's leg making it unable to run and then shot it's head. With both guns having a silencer on them it didn't cause much noise and everything was solved easily.
"They look similar to Demogorgan... but are smaller in size" May came forward and examined them. "Let name them demodogs for now. Aunt Joyce are you okay?" After taking a closer look at the demodogs, Robert turned and asked Joyce whose hands were shaking.
"Huh... yeah... yeah I'm fine. Just a bit... bit uncomfortable" It was the first time Joyce had killed any living thing but her hands making her a bit uncomfortable, she shook her head and said "Don't worry about me. Let find Will quickly."
