The weeks passed quickly. Danae looked more and more lethargic. Danae was fed up with the empty entertainment her mother provided. With the Oracle's prophecy and her father's nature, she knew she would never get out of this place.
Acrisius, who had been watching from afar, seemed relieved to see Dane's condition. He no longer came with Aganippe in the morning and evening.
As the full moon passed, Aganippe began to come less frequently. Even the servant who brought the food had not appeared since three days ago. Danae began to worry and lose her spirits.
Danae didn't know how long she had been imprisoned here, but the last time food had been brought here it signaled the changing seasons. The faint sounds she heard from behind the stone door sounded like raindrops. 'This meant that Argos would soon enter a stormy period. No wonder Mother didn't come. Hopefully it was just the rain.'
Aganippe finally arrived on a cloudy day. She brought more food supplies for Danae. Danae ignored the abundant food and hugged her mother tightly. She just wanted to feel what little warmth the world had left. Only her mother still gave her that warmth at the moment.
"Danae, I may not be able to see you for a while. They say there is a great storm coming from Olympos." After that, Aganippe really did not come.
The weather outside was getting more and more unpredictable. Danae heard the sound of the raindrops getting wilder and more violent as they pounded against the stone door that confined her. Seeping water also began to frequently inundate this underground dome.
One day, Danae was lying down, waiting for her mother next arrival. Suddenly, the stone door opened with a thundering sound. A strong wind blew the rain into the dome. Danae groaned in surprise. She didn't know whether it was morning, noon, dusk, or night. It was as dark outside as it was inside her prison room. The sound of the ferocious raindrops, which had been faint because of the door, now filled the room. Lightning flashed in the sky, illuminating the edges of the mysterious figure standing in the doorway. The figure stood upright staring at Danae with eyes that burned as brightly as the lightning.
It happened instantly. Engulfed in electricity, the stone door slammed shut again. Thunder roared outside, but Danae was neither frightened nor surprised. The sound of the thunder had been muffled in the room that somehow felt warm to Danae.

Two months later Aganippe felt something was wrong with Danae. The food that was usually eaten only a little was now gone. Even the extra portion given to her was devoured by the princess. You could even say that Danae turned into a glutton. Danae also began to frequently ask for various unusual foods. Another change that Aganippe felt was that Danae was no longer gloomy. It was as if life had returned to her. Aganippe was not too bothered by this. She was just happy to see her daughter back in good spirits.
It was only two months later that Aganippe realized. Danae tried to hide it with a blanket every time Aganippe came over, but in the morning while Danae was still sleeping, Aganippe lifted Danae's blanket. Aganippe was a little hesitant because of the poor lighting from the candles. Just as she was about to touch it, Danae woke up and hit her hand. Aganippe immediately ordered the guards and servants to leave. "Danae ... this is ...."
