As Ade gathered her bag, we made our way out of the palace and towards the awaiting carriage that would take her. She turned to me with a warm smile and said, "I'll be leaving now."
I asked, "Are all your belongings in the carriage?"
She nodded, replying, "Yes, they're all there." Then, she turned her attention to Malone, who stood beside me, and added, "I trust that you'll perform your duties splendidly, Malone."
Malone responded with a cheerful smile, "Yes, Lady Adelaide! I'll pray for your safe delivery when the time comes."
Ade looked back at me, a hint of concern in her eyes, and said, "And you, Zinnia, please don't do anything reckless while I'm away."
I couldn't help but smirk, replying, "I will do my utmost best, Ade."
She sighed once more, emphasizing, "Visit me from time to time, and don't forget to reply to my letters, alright?"
I saluted, saying, "Yes, ma'am."
