As Luna's consciousness gradually returned, he became aware of the warmth of a blanket and the softness of a pillow beneath his head. Waking up, he remembered fainting in the cold snow not too long ago.
Swiftly, he opened his eyes, recalling the recent ordeal. He found himself gazing at the small wooden ceiling above his head. Stretching his arms, he noticed the bandages covering him. Attempting to sit up, a sharp pang shot through his stomach, and he felt as though a void had formed inside due to prolonged hunger.
Luna gently touched his aching abdomen, letting out a loud groan as he winced in pain, his eyes tightly closed.
Outside the wooden house, a lady heard Luna's cries and rushed inside. She hurried over to him, holding him in her arms as she gave Luna a glass of water. Luna wasted no time and gulped it down in one go, providing some relief to his troubled stomach.
