We continued walking away, but Duke Sebastian persisted in chasing after us.
"I said, wait!" he shouted.
"We'd rather talk to ourselves than let you join us, Duke Sebastian." I said, dismissing him.
"Oh, I remember now! Didn't you mention something about a matter that requires discovery or invention? I'm willing to listen!" he stuttered, stumbling in his attempt to get closer to us.
Hearing his words, I came to an abrupt stop, causing Xyriel to furrow his brow, not knowing what Duke Sebastian had said.
"I'm listening," I said, turning fully to face Duke Sebastian.
"Forgive me for not listening to you earlier." Duke Sebastian began, "I must admit, I'm a busy man, and the process of discovery or invention is far from simple."
I raised an eyebrow and pressed, "And?"
Duke Sebastian tilted his head, clearly not catching my hint.
