As the day of the job interview arrives, Simon was tensed, he had been very surprised when his best friend had told him he had gotten the interview and had gone over the details of the job over and over again, "it is tomorrow" he thought to himself "we're going to kill it" he says the affirmation to himself looking in his big bedside mirror.

Simon arrives at the sleek, modern office building. Dressed in a grey suit that accentuates his sleek and elegant figure, he's both excited and anxious about the opportunity. As he gets off the elevator he notices there were only two other handsome sharp looking men here for the interview, one of them looked English, he had black hair and grey eyes, his jawline was sharp and kind of sexy. The other looked like an ex thug who had retired to look for greener pastures in law and order he had a tattoo on his hand that spelt 'mamas boy', Simon looked up to see him looking at him and Simon looked away awkwardly.
The interview was scheduled to hold at 8:30am and that was 10 minutes away, Simon looked around the room they were asked to wait to kill time as he could hear the chatter from around the office, he thought to himself how great it would be to work here and suddenly the air of silence hit him, it was as if he had gone deaf, it was too quiet until he heard the honking of a car from the streets and saw a very beautiful man, the most handsome man he'd seen in his life walk by the transparent glass door. It was the CEO Derek Dawson, he strides off into his office not even sparing them a glance with an air of confidence that borders on arrogance.
Simon was the last to be interviewed as if not tensed up enough, he always hates being lazy but he tried tp be assertive whilst waiting his turn…. The tattooed stranger comes out the office and Simons takes a deep breath before looking up at the office, a minute later Beth gestures at him with his hand through the door for him to come him. Simon picks his briefcase and starts for the office whilst collecting his composure.
Simon is gestured to seat facing Derek and Beth stands by his side starring at her tab, probably checking Simon's information.
As Simon takes a seat he can't help but notice Alexander's good looks, but his dismissive and cold attitude immediately rubs her the wrong way. As they sit across from each other in the pristine conference room, the interview begins.
"Why do you think you're fit to be my assistant?" Derek breaks the silence with a cold voice looking at him intently
"Oh I know for sure that I would be a great assistant sir, not only did I graduate top of my class, I am incredibly talented in my field and I can make a mean cup of coffee although that's the only thing I can make" Simon says, his quirkiness coming through and he sees that Beth smiles but Derek seems unimpressed
After a couple of questions the tension in the room was a thick as fog, Simon refused to be intimidated by Derek's demeanor and his quick wit challenged his every assumption. Their irritation for each other grew as the interview went on somewhere deep inside they were enjoying themselves.
Derek sighs, he wasn't used to being challenged and as much as didn't like it he felt excited "I must say I like the way you aren't intimidated by me, it would feel really good to see how long you can last while working for him" Derek says his voice hinting challenge
Simon was appalled by the statement and disrespect in his tone, he wasn't going to let him win
"why don't we find out" he retorts forcing a fake smile
"I'll see you on Monday" Derek says getting up from his chair to leave, he felt aggravated but in a good way
"But sir,…" Beth tries to cut him off
"Escort him out, I have an appointment" Derek cuts her off knowing fully well what she was about to say, he had said he would go for the English man but Simon had turned his head and he wanted to work with the man who did not fear him
Simon was shocked, he certainly did not think he'd get the job after what had just happened, as excited as he was he did not look forward to working for someone like Derek…
'Oh I can't wait to tell Luke how this went down' he thought to himself as Beth showed him around
