In the end Becca didn't need to ring her mother after they landed to find out what her choice was, as they were making their way through the main hall and spotted Derek getting out of a taxi outside.
"Should we hide?" she asked a little nervously as she didn't want to risk a big showdown.
"Too late," Luke responded disappointedly when he looked up and saw that his colleague had spotted them. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder before they continued their way, trying not to be too obvious about wanting to avoid him.
