As the room was consumed by the bright glowing white light, no one could see a thing. Moments later, and the bright light began to dull down, and with that, came the realization that the spinning portal had stopped. Falling onto the floor, Blake and Carter were both glad to see that things had somewhat gone back to normal.
Having stopped teleporting excessively, the first year students had collapsed as well, his body unmoving, laying on the floor. Looking towards the direction where the light had come from, Blake could tell that it was from this student.
'Is this his ability?' he wondered, as his gaze shifted to Carter, who was still lying on the floor with his face facing the ground. 'What was he trying to achieve by doing that?'
Behind a couple of the spectators' seats, after noticing that the bright light had died down, and that there was no longer a force pulling him out, Kayden decided to poke his head out from the side to see what was going on.
'Blake? Carter?' Kayden was wondering what on Earth they were doing here at this point in time. Looking to the side, he could see Shawn lying unconscious against the floor. 'He must have lost consciousness. But how did he manage to stop? Did he run out of Mana, or was it something else?'
Kayden was contemplating going out and checking stuff for himself. Meanwhile, his feet had gotten a mind of their own as they started to move against his accord. Now, he was standing in front of Blake, who looked just s surprised to see him here of all places.
Neither one of them wanted to say a word to the other. So instead, they just stared blankly at each other until Carter regained his composure and stood up from the floor.
"Hey, why don't we just came back later?" Carter suggested, giving Kayden the side eye. Without much thought, Blake nodded his head, and the two left the arena, shutting the door behind them, leaving only Kayden and Shawn left in the room.
Heaving out a sigh, he shrugged his shoulders before running off to see how Shawn was doing. He was certain that the stunt he had pulled must have at least taken a large amount of his Mana to do, abd even if he wasn't fully knocked out, Kayden was still hoping that the latter had come back to his senses.
"Hey, big guy? You awake?" He asked, shaking his body up and down. Despite all of this, there was no response, causing Kayden to shake his head. He then thought it would be best that just take him over to the infermary to receive medical treatment.
As he picked up the student in his arms, he suddenly remembered something very important.
"Wait. Where's Kayla?"
He had been so focused on the other three, that he had completely forgotten about her and the fight they had. Looking left and right, he hoped that at least her unconscious body would enter his sight, buy even after searching every nook and cranny if the large arena space, he could find no traces of her.
However, he did remember something that happened not too long ago.
"Wasn't she sucked into that portal? But wait, where on Earth does it even lead to?" He was starting to get worried because if it was discovered that Kayla Ven had suddenly gone missing, then he and Shawn might end up getting into trouble because of it.
His eyes then fell upon the unconscious body of Shawn, before picking him back up and heading over to the infermary.
'I guess I can just add that to the list of things u have to deal with,' he thought, now standing in front of the infermary.

In one of the dorm rooms in the academy, Zain was getting ready to call it a night. It had been quite an eventful day for him, to say the least. However, he was finally ready to put an end to it all by going to bed.
Sitted on one of the other beds in the room, was one of his roommates, Steve, the boy who would always be seen hanging around Josh. Some would say that he was just leeching off the stronger student, but considering the fact that their power levels were quite close, that wasn't particularly the case.
While Zain had shut his eyes, his head facing the wall beside him, Steve had his gaze fixated on Zain's back. The anger in his eyes, clenching his fists tightly, gritting his teeth. He remembered vividly everything that happened in the hallway today. How Zain had humiliated his friend in front of so many other students.
He was fighting the yrgeti just go over there and best up the student, but managed to restrain himself after he reminded himself that Zain at this point was stronger than him. As much as he was loyal to Josh, he wasn't willing to go out of his way to get beaten up just to prove that point.
So, all he could do was glare in hate and disgust.
'Still, I will find a way to get revenge on you, Zain Devon,' he thought, falling asleep sometime later in the night.
___________
After placing Shawn in one of the infermary beds, Kayden quickly headed back to his room to call it a night as well. Paul had yet to regain consiousness, meaning that for the first time, he would be sleeping alone in the dorm room.
After a quick shower, he got ready in some fresh clothes and laid flat against the bed. Just as he was about to fall asleep, he remembered the fact that Kayla was still nowhere to be seen.
But, other than the fact that he might get in trouble, after the fight he had with her, he had a feeling that wherever she was now, that she would be able to handle herself just fine.
While thinking about this, sometime during the night, his eyes shut, before he fell asleep not long after.
___________
Meanwhile, back in the arena, the door leading into a different room swung open, and standing on the other side, was a large man with an enraged expression on his face.
"Who the fuck was making all that noise?!" He screamed at the top of his lungs, only to soon realized that there was no one else there. Peeking through the sides, were the students who were meant to be dealt punishment, and after realizing that the main arena was empty, a couple of them were starting to throw the military man wierd looks.
____________
Everything around her was dark, well, dimly lit. Using her Mana, she was able to push it towards her eyes, making them stronger and more capable of seeing through the dark environment around her. Turning her head around, she soon realized that she was no longer in the academy.
Wherever she was, she had no idea. At this point, the only thing that came to get mind was the thought of getting out of this place. Looking around, she soon spotted a clear path leading to an opening not too far away.
From a fairly large circular hole, a brighter source of light was illuminating the dark area. Following her vision, she walked across all sorts of plants and rocks, and it wasn't long till she made it towards some sort of opening leading to the outside.
'How on Earth do u get out of here?' she asked herself, as her eyes fell upon the scenery outside.
Vegetation, dense and largely spread s far as her eyes could perceive. But not just that, rummaging through the vegetation but thick and short, slender and tall, were a large variety of creatures she had never seen or heard of in her life. They all looked to be living peacefully with the ecosystem of this environment, but not just that, one of the creatures climbing the trees had turned its head, instantly noticing her presence.
'These… are beasts,' both her hands clenched tightly, as her teeth mashed against each other, threatening to break apart from the pressure being applied.
Beasts. She was currently on a planet that was inhabited by these monsters. Looking at the expression on these creatures' faces, it was clear that she would have to fight them if she wished to secure her chances of getting out of this place and back to the academy.
The first one to act was the first beast that had spotted her. The beast resembled a monkey from Earth, only that it had eight hands and four eyes. Also, there were two tails instead of one, and from the other end of both tails, there was a purple extension with a sharpened point at its end. Dripping out of that point, was a green substance that would make a sizzling noise as it fell against the ground.
'Poison,' she thought, as she got ready to defend herself against the monkey-like beasts. 'I think I should still have enough Mana to defend myself here.'
Instead of using the Mana aura she had been using all this time, she decided that she would switch to using her ability instead. Although she could feel that she was significantly weaker than she was before, she still had enough Mana to use her ability the way she wanted.
"Time to poach some monkeys."
