In the military academy, Kayden and Shawn had teamed up to fight against Kayla. Although they were both powerful first year students, it was made clear as the fight progressed that Kevin still had the upper hand, being able to fight against both of them at the same time while sustaining little to no injuries in return.
In essence, fighting her was akin to fighting some sort of monster.

Kayden was starting to run low on options. For one, the system was stating that his Mana points were lessening with the more damage he took. Also, he didn't see just how he could overpower the student, even though he currently had the Titan tow backing him up.
Taking a step back, Kayden allowed Shawn to take the lead. Using his fists, he swung them out, aiming to strike Kayla at any vulnerable spot that came to his vision. However, thanks to her speed, she wad abk to dodge most of the attacks he threw at her, whike managing to land significant blows of her own.
The match was starting to look ooke it was nearing its conclusion, as Shawn was also starting to loose Mana at a rapid pace. Though that didn't stop him from doing the best he could in the fight. With his teleportation, he had appeared behind her over again, ready to land a kick on her back, when she quickly swiped her habd backwards, whacking him across the face and ending him crashing towards the wall.
It was Kayden's turn to attack, as he rushed forward, not having any sort of plan in mind as he was getting ready to swipe at her recklessly. It was clear the moment his mana went below 10,000 and after Shawn began to loose the fight that they no longer had a shot at winning against her.
Their best shot now was to at least not go down without putting up the best fight they could.
'If only I could used Mana aura just like she can, then maybe this fight might have gone differently,' Kayden thought, getting closer towards her.
"Hmm… I guess it's time I end this fight. It was nice getting to fight against the both of you. If only that third guy was around, then perhaps I might have been able to push myself further," she said, taking a fighting Stace once again.
What happened next was to be expected, as Kayden's body was sent crashing towards the wall at a rapid speed, abd before he could begin to get back up, a heavy gust of wind had pushed him back, and grabbing hold of his neck, Kayla was ready to end this fight at last.

As his body began to change back to normal, she pushed his body against the wall, letting go and rushing towards the other student, wanting to repeat the process and defeat him at last.
Unlike Kayden, who had run out of Mana, Shawn still had quite a lot of it left, but with no offense power to help him out, all he can do is teleport from one place to another, thinking endlessly of a way out of his situation.
Each time he would teleport, he would make use of his Mana. Depending on how far he planned on teleporting, more or less Mana would be used. In the first place, the reason why he had so much Mana and was one of the strongest was simply because he was gifted, just like Kayla.
If only he had received a more powerful ability, then perhaps the outcome of the fight would have been different.
'Think! Think! Think!' he screamed in his mind over and over again. He thought about every way he could eehape use to end the fight, but they all ended in him loosing to her superior power. He had good battle instincts, but he lacked the power to back it up.
'I need to push! I need to push beyond my limits!' he thought, as he began to teleport to all sorts of directions simultaneously. He was teleporting all around Kayla, while thinking of a way to win the fight. At the speed he was teleporting all around her, something strange began to happen, as sparks began to form around the area he was teleporting.
The sparks began to increase, as they would produce a loud noise whenever they would clash against each other. Kayla, seeing this, was curious as to what was going on.
Shawn kept on teleporting about, not caring that he was using up his Mana like so. As he kept at it, a line suddenly connected all the areas he had teleported away and into, and a few moments later, something resembling a portal had been formed.
"What the heck is that?!" Kayden said, staggering his way onto his feet.

"What are you doing?!" The female student yelled, pointing her finger at Zain. "How are you able to hurt them without even sending out those attacks?! Is this an upgrade to your power? What is it?"
She kept on asking question after question, but Zain wasn't planning on entertaining her with any answers as what was going on continued, picking off student after student, and eventually, there were oy two of them left, she and the other guy.
Zain had intentionally left them the way they were because he wished to deal with them personally. Quickly, he sprinted forward, ready to deliver a blow with his fist. Surround his fist, there were strange black claw strikes. It looked ok a swarm of bees were all over them.
This was simply just his power. During the time he had spent with people at the academy, he had learnt of a few new ways to utilize his ability.
One of them was by making the attacks appear right beside his targets, making his attacks more illusive and harder to defend against, and now, there was this. He is now able to create fights coated in floating claw strikes.
The male student was the first to react, as he quickly got in front of the girl, ready to defend her. His eyes gliwed bright green as he was ready to activate his ability. Zain was quick to dodge the green beam of energy that was shot in his direction, and now, he was standing right in front of the student.
The two exchanged blows and kucks while the other student ran behind Zain, wanting to take advantage of the opportunity to launch an attack his way. Zain quickly moved to the side as the attack managed to dodge him by just a few inches, hitting the other student directly in the face.
'Time to kill two birds with one stone,' he thought, rushing towards the girl with his fists. Be didn't give her anytime to channel another attack, as his fists made contact with get face after a couple failed attempts. The claw marks made quick work ripping her flesh and almost sliced through her bones if Zain hadn't held back.
Collapsing against the floor, it looked as though she had fainted, as she laid unmoving on the ground, the blood from the multiple cuts dripping onto the floor and tainting it red.
The other student was unable to contain his anger as both his hands began to glow with the green aura. He shot out a large beam at Zain, who managed to move out of the way and appear behind him, pressing his hand against the student's back.
The match ended afterwards.
"Kumon really did repay that favour he owed me," Zain said, closing his palm then opening it repeatedly. "I wonder what else he might show me if I spend more time around him."

Outside the academy, in a different country, a high-rise building towered over every other building in the entire city. Standing in a large room, looking out through the window, was a man who looked to be in his mid forties. His fists were clasped tightly, abd a vein could be seen protruding from the top right corner of his forehead, going all the way down to the Ade of his cheek bone.
Looking down at the cars and citizens below, his thoughts began to drift towards the previous day. He was wondering what on Earth he might have done to have fallen into such a predicament, to the point that he was considering taking action against the academy for what had happened to his son.
"I swear, I will make them pay for what they did to you, son," he said, turning around and waking back to his desk.
Seating down, a few minutes went by until he had received a transmission from his secretary stating that there was a visitor in the building wishing meet him. After stating that it was someone very important that he knew, he thought for a moment before giving back a reply.
'It's not like I have anything better to do now. I might as well see what this guy wants,' he thought, before telling his secretary to let the person have access to his office.
Not long after, and a blonde-haired man had entered the room, with a wide expression on his face.
