"You must be kidding me!!!"
The white-haired teenager and the dark-green-haired man were startled by the sudden shout from one of the rooms. Both looked at each other before taking a glance at Sora's closed door.
"No! Why would you make me do this?!"
Sora ruffled his hair when he looked at his blue screen.

"Don't call my name! Now, you better tell me. Who is he? Who is he for you to put him in that situation? Who is he for me to force him to be in that situation?"
Sora was trying to prevent his voice from going up an octave to prevent those in this house from hearing his berating.

"Then, I'll just obey you like before? You can't hijack my body to convince him to do it anyway. Better answer my question!"
_ . . . . . _
"Oh, please, don't be quiet now like you don't have the answer. Huh, does your superiors ask you to do this? Whoever your superior is who sent Michael here in that state, I don't fucking care. I don't want to know their motive for doing all of these."
He punched the wall, making it shake a little. The two occupants of the house could feel the vibration.
"What I want to know is, who is he? A beast? An angel? A demon?"
_ W H Y D O Y O U T H I N K T H A T? _
"Why? Because his soul was not even human! Do you think I wouldn't know? I'm not dumb! I'm not doubting him when he says he's not from here, but I'm doubting the memory he has is actually his. What did you do to him?"
_ N O _
Sora took a deep breath to lessen the fury from emerging. He is so done being left hanging without an answer like this. He is so done being left in the unknown and controlled like a puppet to do whatever the system asks him to do.
"Fine, I'll find the answer myself."
He pulled out his sword from his inventory.
"Just to let you know, the six years I've been here were enough for me to find the loophole in your system. You can't prevent me from doing whatever I want, and I will make sure I get my answer."
_ S O R A ! _
Sora smirked.
"You want me to unleash his power, then see me do it, whoever you are behind this system. I will make sure whatever you are plotting will be ruined."
Magic? Aura? Those two were not even the strongest forces in the world. There is one more, which people have forgotten: the origin from millennia, or actually past millennia. The idea of the aura as a dangerous power was true, but not entirely true.
The first stage began with magic; the second was aura; and the third was Deorc, also known as dark ability. An otherworldly power that people deemed a hoax, a child's story
People in this world live in peace because of that belief.
However, what would happen if someone or two used Deorc again? Human extinction would be inevitable.
Furthermore, he knew someone with Deorc in this world. He would also raise the other one into a Deorc user later. It would be an easy task; that is what the system wants him to do, right? He will make sure to do it perfectly.
He raised his hand to touch the blue screen before a golden light emerged from his hand, making the blue screen distorted.

The screen faded from his view.
Sora walked out of his room, pushing the closed door harshly until it let out a loud bang. He looked to his right to see two pairs of eyes gawking at him. A smile formed on his face.
"Michael, let's continue what we left yesterday."
He rested his sword on his shoulder.
"I have something new to teach you. How would you think about knowing the secret of this world?"
The hazel eyes looked at him with a curious gaze before he smirked.
'I will raise him to be someone who can defy fate.'

A pile of papers was put on the table before she backed away.
"These are the candidates that will be participating in the special exam, sir."
The man with a long beard took the pile of papers and flipped it to see that information written.
"Hm, it was less than before."
"The announcement was held accordingly; however, it looks like rumours about this special exam being unachievable since long ago were the cause of the decrease in the number of candidates this year."
The man brushed his beard before he put down the stack of paper on his table.
"Hoho, if a rumour has managed to shake them, it was a well-made decision for them to not participate. A coward shouldn't get a pass. However,"
The man arranged the papers side by side, looking at the name, the age, and the family they were coming from.
"We sure have some peculiar people coming to take this special exam this year. I can't wait to see what they can do. When will the physical test be held for them?"
"A day after the written test, sir."
"Hoho, I have time to look. It was such a shame that no prodigy would be born in this empire again. I've been waiting for 100 years, but Lady Luck was not on my side."
"I'm sure you'll live long enough to witness the birth of a prodigy in this empire, sir."
"Heh, maybe I already found one, but fate played a big role in this world. It was sad that we lost a prodigy even before he bloomed into one."
"The news was devastating, sir. The empire was still grieving."
The man intertwined his fingers and put them in front of his face.
"However, I have a hunch. This year, a prodigy will come here."
"Excuse me, sir?"
His eyes landed on one of the papers.
"The world is whispering to me. This one person from our empire will change the course of the world."
"Your words might bite you back, sir."
The man smirked.
"Do you want to make a bet?"
×××××
All eyes turned in that direction. Each step the person takes makes the people around him look at him with a curious gaze. Some are whispering while looking at him. His black hair swayed with each step he took.
"Who is that?"
"Don't you hear about the rumour?"
"What is it?"
"The only person who managed to pass the special exam after ten decades!"
"You are not serious. He looked just our age!"
"Wait really?"
"No way, is he cheating?"
"The special exam was being held in high security. Once you are caught cheating, you are banned from taking it again forever."
"Is he for real?"
"Where is he from?"
"I heard he is from here."
"So, which household is he from?"
"Or he is just a commoner?"
"He looked like a noble, though."
He deafened his ears from all the murmuring around him, from guys to girls, and from the first year to last year. He walked through the corridor in a languid step, not too fast or too slow, taking in the surroundings around him to familiarize himself.
'What am I doing here?'
Dread emerged within him. However, he snatched his attention away from his mind and the people around him to look at the green surroundings outside the corridor. The day was bright and windy. It was a nice day today.
The flowers were taken care of by the gardener. The colours of the flowers put his heart at ease. He looked back to his front when he arrived in the roof corridor, trailing his eyes along the sculptures and frames on the wall and also reading the name written below the frame briefly.
He also brought his green eyes to the design of the building. The fine carving on the wall was based on flowers. He might applaud the hard work on the architecture.
The longer he went into the corridor, the fewer people were in the area. When he arrived at one big door that had engraved the word principal, he knocked slowly.
"Come in."
Right after that, he twisted the knob down and pushed the door open.
"Pardon my intrusion."
His green eyes scanned the people in the room. From the man behind the big desk with his long beard to the people who were seated on the sofa, one woman with glasses stood next to the bearded man, a woman with a neat bun and a man with a mole on his chin was seated on the same sofa, and a brunette with glasses sat on the opposite sofa.
There are six people in total in this room including him.
"Ah, you must be the new student."
The man with the beard, whom he assumed to be the principal, broke the silence after he pushed the door closed. He put his hand across his chest and bowed a little.
"Greetings, everyone. Let me introduce myself. I am Shuu Orion."
