He pulled out his pre-purchased battle rations and tore open the bag, which was soon steaming hot and white. An occasional rat or two scurried in front of him, but he didn't think to grab his sword and run for it. Soon enough, with the warmed battle rations in hand, he began dumping the contents of the bag all over the warehouse.
He then pulled out a poison potion from his pocket and began to sprinkle it over the food.
"Wow. Is this enough?"
He had consumed about half of the food and six of the twenty bottles of poison. Food and poison potions don't come cheap. But I didn't hesitate. First clear bonus.
You have to get off to a good start.
Guilds are relatively easy to earn, whether you're new or not. But you can't monopolize the first-clear bonus unless you move fast. Now is the time to invest. And soon enough, a small window popped up.
-You've met the requirements for the Rat Pack Hunter. Do you want to finish the quest?
Your goal is to clear Slaughterer mode.
You see a rat some distance away. As you approached it, it tried to scurry away, but it kept scrambling back and forth, as if it had eaten something poisoned. I didn't even have to draw my sword. A kick sent the rat flying into the distance.
The tactic of feeding it poisoned food worked brilliantly. Rats are usually clever. They're smart enough to learn from the deaths of their friends when they eat poisoned food. Sung-hoon, however, had a great skill.
Lowest Level Poisoning (E)
Rank: Normal
Type: Passive
-Poison is not something to be used casually; just as you need skill to handle a weapon, you need skill to handle poison.
-Increases the power of poisons unleashed by Poisoning by 1%.
-If you have low Wisdom or don't have the proper skill, you're less likely to notice the poison.
Like the lowest ranked sword skill, the lowest ranked poison skill can be purchased for 100 guilds.
It's important to note that this reduces the chance of the poison being noticed, meaning that it's possible to poison an opponent while appearing unharmed in the Ailments window.
The rats will begin to eat the food without question, thanks to the effectiveness of the Lowest Level Poison skill. Dismissing the message that he had fulfilled the hunter requirement, Sung-hoon was satisfied with his choice.

The lowest skills were all capped at 100 guilds. The problem was that the next lower-level skills were quickly multiplying tenfold to reach a price point of a thousand guilders, and the intermediate skills were multiplying tenfold again to reach ten thousand guilders.
I could have spent my entire fortune to reach intermediate mastery in a single discipline, but I didn't. I didn't want to be a lone wolf. I don't want to be a one-man army. I wanted to have the ability to react to any situation without being overwhelmingly strong. I chose these skills with the goal of staying alive for now.
Shoot!
I didn't need to use a sword.
If you think about it, it's almost impossible to kill rats with a sword when you're a low-level swordsman who's never had a relationship with a sword in his life. If he wanted to kill a hundred rats in this warehouse with a sword, he would have to be at least an advanced swordsman.
But he had poisoned them with a combination of poison and food.
"Think.
There was never just one way to complete a quest. It was the stupidest thing to do, to go on a rampage with your own sword just to catch rats. Unless, of course, you were capable of catching them. I was glad I chose the rat swarm quest. I wouldn't have had this realization if I'd chosen a quest like Hounds from the beginning.
Soon after, a message popped up.
-You have met the requirements for the Rat Catcher Slayer. Do you want to finish the quest?
Sung-hoon hesitated for a moment, but then he tapped yes, and once again, a bright light surrounded him, and Sung-hoon disappeared into the warehouse.
-You have completed the Catch the Rats quest.
-You have fulfilled the requirements for Slaughterer.
-Base reward: 500 guilds, +1 reputation.
First-time clearance reward on Slayer difficulty: 3000 Guilds, +5 Prestige, +1 Bonus Stat Points.
-The clearing process is being calculated.
-Wisdom increased by 1.
Just a moment ago, I was in a warehouse, and now I was lying on a bed in a small room. It was an unremarkable room. A bed, a table, and a chair were the only things in the small room. After taking a moment to look around, Sung-hoon opened the itemization window.
After purchasing the items, the rewards were added to the remaining amount, and the Sichuan Guilds were recorded.
After a message saying, "Calculating the clearing process," his Wisdom increased by 1. Did my wisdom increase because I used my brain to complete the quest?
I realized that I couldn't continue to use this tactic to clear quests unless I pushed myself as a mage.
The next thing I saw was a stat window.
Looking at his stats, which were still much lower than the average person's, Sung-hoon didn't hesitate to put the bonus points into his health. In the starting room, he hadn't realized how low his health was, thanks to Jerry's constant healing. With his health barely hitting the normal 10 mark after the title bonus and bonus points, Sung-hoon cautiously opened the door and stepped through the door.
There was a long hallway and dozens of other doors on either side that looked exactly like the one he'd come out of. He barely realized where he was until he reached the bottom of the stairs, wary of his surroundings.
At the bottom of the stairs was a mission station I had seen before.
Apparently, when you receive a quest here, you're immediately transported to another location, and when you complete it, you're transported to the room you just woke up in.
"So...."
"Hunt the wolf. Do this."
The time spent in the rat race wasn't very long, but it was enough to get people up and moving. A few people clung to the agents and chatted, and one or two disappeared in a beam of light.
There was no hesitation. I had to make as much money as possible, as fast as possible. There was no one in front of the female agent she had spoken to.
Still, he figured it was better to talk to someone he knew, so he walked over to her. It took him less than a second to regret his decision.
"Wow, you're that player from earlier? You've already finished the rat race? That's amazing!"
Her voice was by no means loud, but it was loud enough to be heard by the few people in the mission station.
She almost let out an involuntary giggle, but her traitorous title was doing its job and helping Sung-hoon maintain a poker face whether he wanted it or not.
"Let's laugh. No good can come from being angry.'
He could feel people nearby sneaking glances at him, and when he followed their gaze to his own body, he realized once again what he needed to work on. Most of the people were dressed in beginner's clothing. A few of them carried weapons, but at least none of them wore a gray coat and had a longsword sheathed.
It was a modest outfit, but it certainly stood out now.
"Hahaha, can you show me the list of other quests?"
"Sure, just give me a minute."

First clear bonus for Slaughterer mode: a low-level health potion.
Class E quests are all pretty much the same, except for what you have to kill, and some of them give you bonus stat points and others give you items. There were even quests that asked you to pull weeds.
Sung-hoon almost chose the quest to catch sparrows for bonus stat points, but he had to stop himself. He half-heartedly chose "Catching Rats" and got a nasty surprise.
At least they used poison to catch the rats, but how will they catch the sparrows?
That was a much worse quest than the rat hunt. After a few moments of shuffling through papers, I found a quest that I could complete with my abilities and that rewarded me with stat points.
Hound Hunt.
-Grade: E
-It's been said that a stick is the best medicine for a mad dog. They say a stick is medicine for a mad dog, and while they may not be mad, there's no denying that feral dogs are an eyesore and a threat to people. Hunt them down.
-Requirements.
1.Dogcatcher: Catch three wild dogs (0/3)
2.hunter: catch 10 hounds (0/10)
3.Slaughterer: Kill thirty wild dogs (0/30)
-Base Reward: 1500 Guilds, +1 Reputation (Rewards will be added according to the achievement conditions.)
-Bonus for first clear of Slaughterer mode: +2 bonus stat points.
I felt a little uneasy at the thought of dogs, but I figured they'd be easier to deal with than rats. At least I can swing a sword at them, and I can use the poison I learned about in Rat Catcher.
"With this...."
"Excuse me."
Sung-hoon was about to accept the hunting quest when he felt someone tugging at his clothes from behind. A man and a woman, both wearing longswords, cowered behind him, staring at him.
"What is it?"
