But with her ability she can shorten the amount of time the plant need to produce food for them, with her power a potato who need 100 days so to fully mature need four to five days to mature.
And not only that, she is not only shorten the growth process but she can also control the minerals that need to make the plant healthier so the harvest is always first class.
The same as the grains that takes three months to full grow and ready to harvest, but with her power she can cut a huge chunk of time to two weeks before harvesting the grains.
Daisy's ability did not end here, she has the ability to "Heal" plant, meaning the plant that they harvest can still produce food after getting "Heal".
The ability cut the planting process while minimizing the effort need to tend the plantation.
Just imagine a plant that can produce food continuesly and harvest every four days makes her value higher even the King or Queen.

Maybe the Villagers don't know what Daisy ability is but the Traveling Merchant know, they heard those strange people who can use Heretic Ability are being hunt by the Church so hidding one means death for everyone so he come up with a plan.
He try to blackmail the villagers to give Daisy to the. To prevent getting implicate by her crime, they even told what kind of horrible punishment waiting for them if they be discover.
Everyone was shocked from what they learn, but they are not scared, almost everyone from the village are not part of the church so they don't understand why they hunt and call them Heretic is they can be helpful for poor people like them.
Seeing that the townfolks can't fool easily, the Traveling Merchant did not stop and try different ways to get Daisy.
Blackmail, intimidate, bribery and so on but not a single person from the village give Daisy, for them she is a goddess who help them in the time when they need help.
She did not ask anything, she never show superiority or belittle them but she show them kindness.
For them Daisy is not just a orphan, she is the greatest treasure the village ever have that's why after smelling that the Traveling Merchant will never stop until they get Daisy, the Village Leader decide to snuggle Daisy out of the village.
They thought that if the Church really come to take Daisy, she is already gone in hidding, even if they try to implicate them all they can just deny everything, they are pretty sure that Church will not attack them without evidence but they miscalculate.
The Church is generous for those who follow up them but doe those who did not, they see them as eneiof their religion, and they never show any compassion to enemy.
And just like that, because the Traveling Merchant think he can't take the treasure with them they choose to destroy it fabricating some scrime and report it to the Church.
