An enthusiastic Bulma hurriedly stepped off her ship, and made her way towards Bulma's ship, where a nearby tent is stationed. Vegeta trailed behind her, his arms crossed and a scowl on his face.
"Why did you need to drag me along," Vegeta asked gruffly.
Bulma smirked. "Oh, do you want to leave? You can, but I guess you be here to stop me from telling everyone tha—"
"Alright!" Vegeta swiftly Interjected, his cheeks flushing. "Tch. I'm not complaining... just curious," He murmured.
"Anyways. This is the perfect place to test it," Bulma exclaimed enthusiastically. She glanced over Goku, who stared off into the distance. "What caught his attention?" Bulma thought a rise in her curiosity.
Bulma eagerly removed a small menta black square device from her pocket, as they approached their camp site.
Bulma laid the device down on a table. "Alright. Here goes nothing." She waved her hand over the sensor of the device in order to activate it.
Upon activation a beam of light fell from the device, then fell to the ground. Bulma crossed her arms across her chest, as the ground trembled beneath their feet.
Vegeta subtlety tensed up. He scanned his surroundings sensing something was amiss. Goku snapped out his gaze from this tremble, and flew over to the pair.
"Hey, what's going on over here?" Goku asked. He gazed over at Bulma's device, with interest.
Bulma grinned, her eyes shined with excitement. "My invention worked! It created a seismic beam as predicted, now to wait for the effects."
Vegeta raised an eyebrow. "And what's the use of that?" Vegeta inquired, almost dismissively.
Bulma's smile faded slightly. "Well it has a few appliances; specifically for things God Ki related."
Goku scratched the back of his head. "I'm not quite sure what you're going for here, but if It's one of your best yet, then that's great."
"Ahh! There. Thanks Goku I knew you'd get it," Bulma exclaimed.
A while later Goku went on back to gaze into the sky, leaving Bulma to her new invention. Vegeta kept close tabs on Goku, his behavior was somewhat off, so he caved in and approached.
"What's wrong?" Vegeta asked, finding himself gazing into the sky. His arms dropped to his sides, and he clenched his fist.
"Yeah. You're feeling it too, huh Vegeta?" Goku murmured, subconsciously steeling himself for something to come.
A moment a silence filled the air around them, then in an instant a dark portal crackled into existence. It grabbed everyone's attention, effortlessly, as it filled the air with an ominous energy.
What emerged from it, shook each of them to their core. "Black!?" Goku, Vegeta and Bulma exclaimed in sync.
Goku went on up first, up in front to his look alike. He took him a only a second to notice that this wasn't his old enemy Goku Black.
This creature stared at Goku, his pitch black sclera, made his purple iris more vibrant in the daylight.
Before another thought could be formed by anyone, the Look Alike made its move. It grabbed a hold of Goku by the face, and tossed him with minimal effort into the ground. Vegeta wasn't given the chance to attack, as he received a punch to his stomach that had him on the ground in an instant.
Bulma subconsciously stepped back in response to the Look Alike's presence. The commotion had Chi-Chi quickly exit the ship in confusion, to which she is met with The Alike staring her down. It stood there, eyes glued to Chi-Chi's.
This strange moment was cut short, as Vegeta got up from behind, and swung his fist at the Look Alike, which made it retreat into the air.
"Are you alright?" Bulma promptly asked.
"Tch. I'm fine," Vegeta replied through gritted teeth. "Damn, bastard…" He thought holding a hand over his stomach.
Goku quietly appeared behind the Look Alike in his Super Saiyan State, a wide smile on his face. "I'll admit it, you got me good."
The Look Alike didn't even turn to acknowledge Goku's presence, his gaze fixed on Vegeta. Goku's smile faded, and made a move, to strike at the Look Alike with a swift right from his fist, that failed to land.
Realizing that this may just be too much for one to handle, Vegeta joined Goku in the air. "Get ready Kakarot." Vegeta raised his Ki and powered up to his Super Saiyan Form.
The Look Alike widened its eyes. This sent out an invisible force of energy that knocked Vegeta back, bypassing his senses.
Goku didn't waste a second to charge at his Look Alike, which enabled him to land a blow to the Look Alike's bare chest. "Huh?" Goku remained in position, taken aback that his punch did nothing.
The Look Alike ignored Goku, and continued on towards Vegeta. Goku powered up to his Super Saiyan 2 Form, which only made his look alike blast past him, with tremendous speed, still disregarding the saiyan.
