"So I have the impression that you've put your life back together a bit in recent years," you say. "It seems like you're doing very well now, functioning very successfully, getting those articles out there."
She is instantly tense. "As opposed to what?" she asks.
"As opposed to some of your earlier psychiatric difficulties," you say blandly. As though this were common knowledge, which it really isn't. "I hear you had a vision of Saint Rose."
"That's not a topic we need to talk about," she says. But she's obviously flushed, and she doesn't seem at all happy that you brought this up.
