Chapter 108 - 109

Dean said lightly, "Let's take some time to pay respects to them."

He did marry their daughter. It's only right and proper that he should go and pay respects.

Joy looked at him in surprise, "Dean, are you willing to go?"

She didn't expect Dean would agree to visit her parents' graves. Even though they were not her real parents, they could represent them. Her mother's grave wasn't in G city, but her father's was.

"I've accepted the gift."

Joy hugged Dean tightly, her voice choked with emotion, "Thank you, Dean. You're so kind."

Dean frowned, "What are you crying for?"

Joy sniffed, "Nothing, Dean, you continue working. I won't disturb you."

Joy stood up to leave, but Dean pulled her back, "You've made my shirt wet. Help me change it."

Joy blinked, her long eyelashes still glistening with tears. She asked innocently, "Dean, aren't you going to work anymore?"
