Katherine seemed not willing to give up, and the bidding escalated quickly to 20 million.
Not wanting to waste time with Katherine, Joy immediately raised her bid: "30 million."
Dean glanced at her lightly, "Can you afford it?"
Joy smirked, "Isn't there a three to five-day payment period? I can earn it, no rush."
"What if you don't earn it?" Dean counter-questioned.
"If I don't earn it, how about I sell myself to you, Dean?" Joy said, snuggling up to him.
Dean responded indifferently, "Who said they wouldn't spend a penny of my money?"
Joy sat up straight, "It was me, I won't spend a penny of yours, Dean. I can earn it."
Sitting in the front row, Katherine turned back to look at Dean, her beautiful eyes filled with grievance.
Dean returned her gaze, his eyes somewhat sharp.
Katherine said to her assistant, "Never mind."
