Once Alice got her money from Lorien, she made her way back to the Inn with a skip in her steps.
Although it was a shame that her current outfit got damaged, getting some compensation was always good.
She wanted to go shopping for new clothes immediately but decided to wait till her job was over.
'There are still two more days to go. Tomorrow will be three shipments again then on the last day, it'll be four.' Alice mused to herself.
'Do you think that Minerva girl will set out a trap for you?' Alyss asked curiously.
'Of course she will. Didn't you see that glare she was giving me? She's practically wanting to kill me with that glare.'
'So are you going to reply in kind?'
'Who do you think I am? I might be patient but I'm not patient enough to let someone who tried to kill me live. Granted, I'm working with smugglers right now but if Minerva crosses the line then I'll take care of her.' Alice shrugged.
