"Stop being nosy and stop following me!" this man has been following me since earlier and he has too much question that I'm not supposed to answer it.
"Then just answer me and I'll go back where I came from" he said while facing me.
If he's not a mortal then why I don't see any more sign proving that he's one of us aside from he's really not affected through my abilities.
"Just one question." I strictly said.
He nodded "where you going in the midst of this forest?" he asked immediately.
I can't lie but I can't tell the truth to him either.
"I'm supposed to go home." I've got no choice but to lied. Oh gods, I apologized.
"Go home? Is there any built houses here?" he looked around the forest while look so confused "and why you have that bow and arrows at your back? Your dress isn't look normal either"
"Wait, even my dress!?" how come even my white dress will involved here?
"Yes, you look like a Tinker Bell in a white version"
I didn't answer him and I'm just looking at him intently.
"What? Look, it's really impossible to wear that kind of dress if you are TRULY living here" he really emphasize it. "you can't fool me Xanthe, I know you're lying"
"Then what do you want to hear from me then?" I'm already annoyed.
"The truth.. that you're immortal." he said it directly to my face.
"Are you believing those kind of creature?" I genuinely asked.
"Why not?" he walked and sat down again under the tree "well, honestly being mortal is really boring and I'm truly open minded when it comes to another realm, like the twelve Olympians deities and their children, demigods, warriors, monsters and other more creatures that mortal fail to see.. but lucky for me because I met one though"
"You already considered me as immortal one?"
"The first time I saw you earlier I already knew that you're not a human though, that's why I followed you since earlier because you caught my attention and my curiosity as well"
He's aware about our realm and some things about us.
"All you have said is true." he stopped then stood up from sitting and faced me. "the most famous body of Mythology is the Mythology of the Greeks is all true, even the gods and goddesses are truly exists." he listens to me attentively so I continued what I'm saying "I know you already heard about the Greek Myth that it was used to explain the environment in which humankind lived, the natural phenomena they witnessed and the passing time through day, months, and seasons.. that this myth uses to be a lessons for younger generation."
"So basically, the rituals of the Ancient Greeks is also true" he said out of nowhere.
"Why it's so easy for you to believe this such kind of thing?" I already asked.
"I don't know.. maybe because of my Grandma who taught me to believe what mortals' can't see"
It's getting dark in the forest and I already need to go back to my assigned place.
"I need to go" we both said at once and we chuckled because of that.
"I'll accompany you then" I volunteered.
"No, it's okay.. I'm the one who supposed to said that actually" he smirked.
"You don't have to, forest is already my home." I answered.
"Well, umm, can we meet again next time?" he asked.
"Let's go, I'll accompany you until you reach the sea." I ignored what he said then I just held his wrist and we both ran.. in mortal speed of course.
The other day, I woke up because I smell something unfamiliar with me.
I looked around but I've saw nothing
When I was eating my breakfast Nyx approaches me.. she's another Dryad "I saw you last night together with a human" she said out of nowhere.
"Oh, he's not a human" clarifying her.
"What do you mean?" she asked full of curiosity and I was supposed to answer her but she spoke again "did you know that Troilus have seen you together with that human?"
I stood up as I heard what she said "What's his reaction then?" I asked back.
"Of course his reaction was bitter and in pain, seeing his long time crush spending time with another man" she said and smirked.
"Shut up, I'm not spending my time to him.. I just helped that man" I explained.
If Troilus really saw us last night I assumed he will thought that something's happening between me and Sevance.
I can't deny that he's type of god that always feels jealous, even if we're not in relationship he still watching me and other gods, demigods, and immortals who are approaching me.
He assumes that he owns me.
"Anyway, did Troilus already went here?" I asked Nyx who already minding her own business now through eating.
"Yes, I saw him over there earlier when you were still asleep."
I looked around for the second time but failed to see him.
I hope Sevance don't come back here.
It's almost my duty time when I heard someone screaming inside?

Don't get me wrong if I already caring for that man, it's just if Troilus did something bad to him then it's my fault for causing a misunderstanding and I hate causing troubles.
I walked around the forest until I saw Troilus at the cliff and he's not facing me.
I came closer to him when I saw what he's doing with a man!

"Troilus!" I shouted. He immediately looks back at me "what are you doing!?"
Troilus carrying Sevance through his neck or should I say he's choking Sevance and one wrong move Sevance will fall into the sea, to the very deep part of the sea.
"Is this the reason why you can't love me back?" here he goes again, guessing all the time. I chose not to answer him and I'm just looking at Sevance who are already suffering from breathing right now.
"I saw you with him last night, what's the meaning of that?" he asked again.
"He helped me." here I go, creating white lies just to save this man.
I need to maintain my serious expression and posture showing I'm saying the truth, any gods and goddesses are so good reading our actions. They know when you're lying.
He finally decided to put Sevance back into the land.
"He helped you from what?" his sweet tone when he's talking to me is back.
"From mortals who tried to mess the sea when Hydriads needed me again" I answered him in a very serious tone.
I know he will punish me once he know I'm lying to him.
"But he's also a mortal?" he looks confused.
"A good mortal, Troilus." I'm saying the truth now "If you don't have any business here now can you please excuse us and I need to pay him back more" made an excuse again just to avoid his gaze because I know he's trying to read me deeply.
I pulled Sevance's wrist and walked away from Troilus.
When we reached the realm of mortals, I already let go his wrist and asked him "Are you alright? I'm sorry from that"
"I thought that would be my last breathe earlier" he looks so pale!
He looks like not okay yet "where's your home here? I'll accompany you" I volunteered again.
His house isn't that far from our forest that's why we arrived immediately.
When I looked around to his house it look so empty and when I've something to say to Sevance he suddenly collapsed and fell into his couch.
