"Pa, what is the moral of the story?"
[Pa turns to look at Ma and Dady.]
Ma answers: It's about courage. To be brave and find your tribe.
Dady contests: No even better! it's about the power of friendship!
Pa laughs: It is all those things. But most of all to learn how to love. Love gets you all of those things. Friends and families all require love and effort to be put in. I should know I am very good at building them.
Ma: You jest. You make it all gooey and sweet like Jalebi.
Pa: But if you didn't love me you would have never saved me from myself right?
Dady: They are right. And I thought you would hate them till the twilight came.
Ma: You, shut up. Hate doesn't exist in my soul.
Dady: Yes, yes, my mistake. Heading out?
Ma: Yes, going shopping, see.
Ma shows the both of them something on her phone and gets dressed.
Pa: Looks fun.
Ma gives us all kisses on our cheeks and runs out with a water filter in hand.
[Pa and Dady are left at home with me.]
"Can you repeat the story again? I want to write it down this time for my project."
*Dramatic facepalm.*
Dady: Let's wait until Ma returns with Auntie.
"Fine."
[Over by the TV stand is a game system.]
"I bet I can beat you both!"
[I run and power on the system.]
Dady: What! You're on!
Pa: Likewise.
_______________
I put down my pen and put my head on my perched hand.
Me: How does one make a story in a month?
Class is being a piece of poop. . . Oh. Time passes so fast.
Me: Not even a story, a novel? I can't write that fast. And time limits make me procrastinate. . .
Me: What should I do? World building? That sound like it might work.
Me: So if I just make this, no manches, they are cute! Let's make another one.
Me: Aye, I think I can make a story out of this.
Me: Should I introduce Myths and Cryptids? . . . . .
Me: ― Myths are like folklore about humanish beings, gods, mer, elves, they also are magical, yeah that works. Then the Cryptids are people who are athromorphs, legends like 'El Chupacabra', big foot, the yeti, mainly non-magical, non-animal/ animal based creatures. I guess aliens and vampires fit here fit in here they are naturally the way they are. Wait, wouldn't that also make humans Cryptids? No wait, humans like to be different. In technicality yes, in practice, no. Aliens???
No, don't think too hard.
Me: I can start off like this. . .
