In one of the private rooms of the Tuason Mansion, Maria found herself in an incredibly awkward and distressing situation. She sat nervously with her mother by her side, while Prince Alfonso was about to talk to her father.
Alfonso: "Don Tuason, I intend to marry your daughter."
