As tensions escalated and multiple nations declared war on the Empire of the Orient, the United States was the first to mobilize its forces. One of the key strategic targets in their sights was the resource-rich territory of Alaska, home to a vital military base. The proximity of Alaska to the United States made it a prime target for an early offensive.
Unbeknownst to the attacking forces, the military base in Alaska had already been prepared for the imminent threat. In response to Emperor Alfonso's orders to raise the military alertness to DEFCON 1, the base had activated its defensive systems and readied its arsenal.
