Chereads / Reincarnated Dungeon Master: I am the Weakest Villain / Chapter 25 - Accompany For A Dance My Lady? [2]

Chapter 25 - Accompany For A Dance My Lady? [2]

Tonight would be the time of the meeting between dungeon masters, the merchants and the races that support them and their warriors.

On the other hand, though. It seems I have no backing apart from the lovely goblin knight, my lustful witch and the paladin that peeks at our acts.

"Tonight shall be quite fun, truly..."

The said goblin was now making adorable noises as she chose her dress with the help of Sophia and Verita.

"So... should we give it one last hurrah?"

"What do you say we keep going a little longer? Wolf15? Hellfire10?"

Their eyes gazed at me, a golden eye filled with terror and servitude as the huge firey wolf began to step back, followed by the twenty others in the room.

Aware of their fates, I could only smile at how they learned so well after a few dozen deaths.

"Worry not—I will use something bigger to kill after this."

However, the wolves only whimpered at my words and moved away—clearly, they didn't believe me.

At first, they loved training with me. Their numbers could overwhelm and injure me during our close combat training...

"Was it not all fun when you were biting my body, tearing my flesh? Now you all become cowardly dogs...?"

Now, I could tear off their heads if they were even a moment too slow.

"So you won't continue?"

"Wuu...wuu..."

"Awu...uu...!"

Their bodies lowered, showing surrender, but anger and disappointment filled my chest.

I had been fighting with them for days now, sometimes letting them almost half kill me because of my oath not to use magic, and yet now I could fight them without magic.

Their shared memories after death seem to have created cowards.

My hand reached out, their ears flickering and eyes expectantly gazing at me before my thumb and finger clicked.

The countless fire magic circles around the training room were all collected below their feet, over their bodies, without them even knowing.

"I see..."

*Snap*

A burning flame exploded from more than ten magic circles, causing them all to burn in a deadly flaming nova. The heat was so warm that he felt the crispy tingle on his exposed upper body filled with claw marks and blood, even three metres away.

They died so fast that their pain yelps were muted as the dark red flame melted their bodies into ash.

"Sorry, but cowards have no place in my dungeon. You will fight the most heroes because we are the first dungeon most enter. I cannot have broken wolf dogs as my vanguard."

[Combat Ended]

I was a bit of a freak and enjoyed reading guides to find all classes. That's why when this one came up on my list, I took it...

Who knew that it was both a magical and martial arts specialist class?

The screen popped up as I summoned another set of wolves, losing three hundred DP and ordering them to leave the dungeon forever and enjoy life in the northern forests beyond the Novice village.

"This is my severance package for you all... Thank you for helping me reach this point."

I watched as Wolf10 and Wolf11 looked back before rushing out of the dungeons with their tails wagging.

Hellfire10 stopped sitting at the door, watching the first wolves as if doubtful of me.

These wolves were too smart...

"Don't worry, I release you. Go, find some cute females and have lots of children."

*Snap*

My fingers snapped, causing the wolves to tremble, but this time, it was not an offensive magic I used but a defensive flame barrier that would protect them for a full day.

I am not a psychopath... They helped me grow so much by dying.

So, I gave them a chance to survive.

"Little wolves, you should go now. That will only last a day, so get as far from here as possible."

"From next week, it will be hell for you guys..."

It was amusing how a little kindness made them reluctant to leave before. Finally, the pack leader howled, watching me as he left with a strangely human nod.

"I cannot wait to see you all again—in the meantime, why not make those heroes feel terror from your prowess."

The wolves had no idea, but the self-destruction feature was gone, and they would be left in a critical state but not dead.

I didn't hate them in all truth—the fate of dungeon monsters was worse than a Dungeon Master, and that's why I helped them grow stronger.

"You guys won't even understand what I saved you from..."

Leaving the now-empty training room, I headed to the main throne room—a nice clang from my steel boots along the stone floor.

To the left was a round glowing portal that would take us to the event started to tremble. A mixture of purple and blue light danced slowly as if the particles held each other's hands and greeted the guests to their grand spectacle.

I approached my throne with a conflicted heart—from tonight, I would be faced with my future enemies, allies and the traitors who have already sided with the enemy and did not even realise they were just being used as dogs.

"Do I take their hand and seek profit... Or wait for the next meeting in three months."

The thoughts in my head were chaotic. It was not just a game—my life was on the line, yet all I cared about was whether it was fun or how many people would die!

*Clack*

While lost in thought, the door of Muru's room opened, causing my chaotic and complicated thoughts to disperse as my eyes snapped towards the door.

"Eh?"

Muru stood looking at me like a dazzling princess. Her olive skin was wrapped in a low-cut dress, and the beautiful wine-red colours accented her body and face as well that they sparkled in the dim torchlight.

She had light makeup on her face, with a pretty gloss on her peach lips—Muru seemed embarrassed as she stood looking at me, holding both hands in front of her hips.

"A-Asmodues..."

"You look like a princess... Is that my beautiful little Muru?"

I looked at her with concern, "What should I do?"

"Hueh!? Is something wrong?" Muru squeaked while Sophia and Verita behind her both covered their face while standing behind her.

"You look too wonderful. What will I do to fight off all the men that want to take you away from me!?"

My hands spread out dramatically before I covered my face, looking worried as Muru watched me with the brightest smile and happy eyes narrowing into crescents as she blushed and stepped closer.

"Stupid... I would beat them and show them the crest you have placed on me."

"Fufu~ Asmodeus, you're so silly but... Muru is happy to see you like her dress. I chose the red one because it's beautiful... Like your flames."

As she spoke, I felt a strange joy from her appreciation of my fire magic... Then she offered me her hand, painted with a colour matching her dress.

"Would you accompany me for a dance, handsome sir?" Muru's cheeks were bright red as she spoke with the same accent I did when asking her to join me...

Ah...

I think I've fallen in love with a goblin.

Even if the world should perish... Muru, you alone I will save.
