The dawn was just breaking, casting a soft, golden hue over the city. Jon, a man of routine, was surprised to find visitors at his doorstep at such an early hour. The visitors were a couple, a man and a woman, both dressed in striking purple suits. Their attire was peculiar, but what intrigued Jon more was the uncanny familiarity he felt towards them.
The man was tall and handsome, with a cane in his hand that seemed more of a fashion statement than a necessity. The woman, on the other hand, was a picture of beauty, her long black hair cascading down her shoulders, contrasting sharply with her purple suit. But her eyes, they were vacant, devoid of any spark, as if life had been sucked out of them.
Jon squinted his eyes, studying them closely. "What brings you here so early in the morning?" he asked, his voice steady.
The man, with a smirk on his face, replied, "Oh, sir! We don't need any repairs. We're just a bit short on cash. Would you be kind enough to lend us all the money you have?"
Jon couldn't help but chuckle at the audacity of the request. He looked at the man, his gaze piercing, "Before I decide whether to part with my money, I need to know who I'm dealing with. You wouldn't happen to be Kilgrave, would you?" He then turned his attention to the woman, "And you, are you Jessica Jones?"
The man's smirk faded, replaced by a look of surprise. The woman, Jessica, looked at Jon, her lifeless eyes now showing a flicker of surprise. Jon had hit the nail on the head. They were indeed Kilgrave, the Purple Man, and Jessica Jones.
Kilgrave had a unique ability. He could infect those around him with a virus, enabling him to manipulate their actions with his words. Jessica Jones, a super heroine with immense powers, had unfortunately fallen prey to Kilgrave's control.
Kilgrave was infatuated with Jessica's power. He had kept her captive, tormenting her, using her for his twisted desires, all under the guise of a deformed love. From Jessica's current state, Jon deduced that she was still under Kilgrave's control.
"I said, give us your money!" Kilgrave's voice echoed again, this time laced with a hint of panic. His usual confident demeanor was faltering, replaced by a sense of unease. Jon's knowledge of their identities had thrown him off balance.
Jon, however, remained unfazed. He looked at Kilgrave, his gaze unwavering, "And what if I refuse?" he asked, his voice calm yet firm. The morning was no longer ordinary, and Jon was ready for whatever was to come.

Kilgrave's ability to manipulate others through his words had never failed him before. This unexpected resistance from Jon sent a wave of panic through him. Jon, however, remained silent, slowly reaching for the drawer of his desk. Kilgrave sighed in relief, assuming his control had finally taken effect.
But his relief was short-lived. As he peered into the drawer, he found nothing but an uneaten apple core. Realization dawned upon him - Jon was toying with him. As the Ghost Rider, Jon was immune to any form of mind or soul manipulation, rendering Kilgrave's abilities useless against him.
"What are you doing!" Kilgrave exclaimed, taking a few steps back, his eyes darting around the room.
In response, Jon simply pulled out the Elder Wand, waving it lightly. The shop door slammed shut with a loud bang, startling Kilgrave further. His heart pounded in his chest, his mind racing to figure out his next move.
"What are you doing?!" Kilgrave demanded, his eyes darting between the closed door and Jon.
"I'm just closing the door to deal with some unwanted pests," Jon replied nonchalantly, shrugging his shoulders.
Kilgrave's face contorted into an ugly expression. In desperation, he turned to Jessica, "Jessica, tear him apart!" As the words left his mouth, Jessica's face twisted in pain and struggle. Despite her resistance, her body moved towards Jon, under the control of Kilgrave's command.
"I'm sorry, I didn't want to be like this!" Jessica apologized to Jon, her voice filled with regret. Her eyes, once lifeless, now held a glimmer of hope, a silent plea for help. Jon knew he had to act, not just for himself, but for Jessica too.

Jon's voice was soft, yet firm, as he reassured Jessica, "It doesn't matter. When you wake up, you will find that everything is over." He waved his wand, chanting a spell, "Stupefy!" A blue light shot out, hitting Jessica squarely in the chest. She collapsed, unconscious, her body finally free from Kilgrave's control, if only for a while.
Kilgrave watched in disbelief as his most potent weapon fell. He had used Jessica to eliminate countless threats, even law enforcement officers. But now, she lay motionless on the ground, her powers useless against Jon.
"Who are you?!" Kilgrave demanded, his voice trembling with fear. He had merely intended to rob a shop, using his powers to manipulate the owner. But he had unknowingly walked into Jon's domain, and now, he was the one being manipulated.
Jon approached Kilgrave, a smile playing on his lips, "See for yourself." His body ignited with flames as he activated his Spirit of Vengeance form. Kilgrave's screams filled the room as the hellfire consumed him, reducing him to ashes.

When Jessica finally woke, it was as if she had emerged from a long, torturous nightmare. She looked at her hands, her voice barely a whisper, "Am I free?!"
"Yes." Jon's voice echoed in the room. He was sweeping the ashes of Kilgrave off the floor, a grim reminder of the villain's fate.
"Where did Kilgrave go?" Jessica asked, her voice shaky.
Jon pointed at the dustpan filled with ashes, "Here." He dumped the ashes into the trash can, a fitting end for a villain like Kilgrave.
Jessica was in disbelief. Her nightmare was finally over. Tears welled up in her eyes as she asked Jon to confirm that it wasn't a dream. Jon reassured her, "Yes, this is not a dream. The bastard got the justice he deserved and will never come back again."
"But... what should I do now?" Jessica asked, wiping away her tears.
"Do what you want to do, such as finding a job?" Jon suggested, before shrugging and returning to his seat. He had done his part, rescuing her from Kilgrave. It was now up to her to decide her path.
"Thank you," Jessica said, her voice choked with emotion. Her journey was just beginning, but for now, she was free.
