The girl repeated, but again, she received no response. As if accepting the silence as her answer, she let out a huff. The howls of the fierce wind intensified. Snow danced in the air like flower petals. Without lifting a finger, the girl ordered the winds to charge.
As if obedient snakes, wind blades dashed to the targets trapped inside the walls. Ice scattered. Air was split apart. Anything that was even slightly grazed by the blades was cut.

The attack was nullified upon slamming across an invisible shield. Several magic spells were already cast around the group to protect them from all sides. Alaric flicked his hands, spreading his mana circles all around. They weren't yet overwritten by a specific spell, allowing Alaric to hastily cast whatever he desired on the already prepared circles without wasting time.
