"Huh! You're here as well?"
As the gate was pushed open, the sullen, sour face of a young man came into view, hunched at a corner of the room, staring at thin air with a blank gaze.
Upon hearing his voice and seeing Ian enter, Felix jolted up.
"H-hey! You alive?"
"Hm? Did you want me dead?"
"Ah, no! Of course, not!"
The room, or rather, the cell, was large enough for two people to fit in, but not as comfortable to stay at. The metal walls were frozen, the flooring too tough to sit on, dirty and cold. Barely lit with a twinkling light, the inside of the cell was also void of anything that could be considered a bed or a chair, leaving them with no choice but to squat down on the iron ground.
"So, mind telling me what mess I have exactly gotten myself into?"
Once again, he was back at the most annoying part of the operation, pretending like he didn't know anything about the situation and acting like a complete newcomer.
