I was sleeping on my bed, but the feeling of the soft mattress changed into a cold hard one and woke me up.
"mm..?"
I slowly opened my tired eyes and looked around the surroundings.
Everything that I could see was red, the ground was red, the trees were red, and the sky was red. It took me a while to realize that I was not in my room anymore.
The realization shook me out of my drowsiness. My eyes widened in shock and I panicked.
"Where am I?" I muttered.
The last thing that I remember before I got here was that I went to bed. Am I in a dream or something?
"Ow," I slapped myself to see if I could feel the pain, and I did.
I could feel the stinging sensation on my cheeks from the slap. It was clear that I wasn't dreaming.
I stood up from the ground and looked around. Everything was red, I don't think I'm on Earth anymore this looks more like hell.
I walked around aimlessly, trying to find someone else in this red forest that I spawned into.
Did I die? Why am I in hell? I don't think I have done anything wrong...
While I was wondering where the hell I was, I saw a humanoid figure ahead of me. I hid behind a tree and observed the humanoid figure.
It was a goblin that was similar to the ones you could see on manhwas or mangas, but the difference was that the goblin is red, and not green.
'Is everything red in hell?' I wondered.
After discovering the red goblin, a hologram suddenly appeared in front of me.
[Quest received.]
'Huh!? Quest..?'
I was surprised when it appeared in front of me and flinched a little. I didn't expect that I would receive a quest suddenly. I didn't even know that I could receive one.
Do I have something a system like those protagonists in novels?! I contained my excitement and focused on the urgent matters.
'Open the quest information.' as soon as I said that in my mind another hologram appeared in front of me.

I can't talk or make any loud noises or I might get discovered by that strange, weird red goblin, so it's great that I don't need to speak out just to do something, or I might get called out as a crazy person.
'Oh?! I'll die? That's crazy.'
I carefully read the entire quest information and saw that failure meant death for me, and I only had 23 hours to kill that Red Goblin.
But 'Seed of Potential' sounds cool, so I guess it's a good item because a cool name means a good item, it's basic logic, but I don't think a good item is worth my life.
I wonder what my status looks like, I mean if I have a quest window, then there must be a status window right?
'Status' I thought in my mind.
The quest window disappeared and was replaced by the status window.

I looked at my Unique Ability and clicked on it to see if there was a description of my Unique Ability.

I was speechless by the description of Creation, it is the laziest description I have ever seen. I decided to not get too worked up about it and focused my attention on [Evolving].
Having [Evolving] would mean that it can get stronger and reach higher ranks because it's obviously in the name. I guess I'm not too unlucky after all.
After checking my stats I recalled the reward of the quest that I just got and opened the quest window again.

'Huh? The reward is just insane! Killing a goblin for a treasure that all beings desire?!' I thought while containing my excitement.
It seems that the Death failure was reasonable after all.
So this is the experience of having a system, it's amazing thankfully, I have one.
While I was focused on exploring the system, I looked over to where the Red Goblin was and the goblin was nowhere to be found. I didn't notice that it had already left, because I was engrossed in the system.
If I can't find that goblin and kill him before 23 hours then I'm dead, I need to find that goblin and kill it fast.
I say that but I have no experience in fighting at all. I don't even have weapons to use to defeat the goblin.
But, I do have my Unique Ability. I wonder if I can create some weapons with it.
Well, I should probably try to create something with my ability, so I can get familiar with it.
Closing my eyes, I imagined a gun and said in a low voice.
"Creation."
Slowly opening my eyes, I didn't see the gun that I imagined. It is my first try after all so It was to be expected I sighed and prepared to try again, but a system notification appeared in front of me.

I looked at the notification. So it wasn't my fault that I failed, it was the ability.
