She came the next day feeling calm and happy. I was already talking to my boyfriend on Line application. He told me his huge secret about his family having a company and he was the heir of it. I was surprised because he didn't tell me any of that before.
"How are you doing Ms. Queen?" She started as I was quiet.
"I'm fine. How about you Ms. Everdine?" I invited her to the living room that afternoon. She seemed so busy.
"I'm great. I just want to continue the story because at the end of this week I'll be leaving. I've been called again to travel to Korea for a business," She smirked carelessly. Held that cup of juice and staring at it. She suddenly stood up heading to my huge mirror in my bedroom and staring at it. I followed her as I had always done.
"Is everything okay?" I asked anxiously.
"Yeah. I like this mirror. I had one before. I used to talk to my reflection on it. Making wishes and praying for my dreams to come true," She replied smiling hugely.
"Well. I wrote the chapters of the story you told me about. You can continue in order to finish it soon," I proposed and she nodded.
'We went me and Yeongi to the beach holding our hands. Everyone seemed happy enjoying themselves. It was unbelievable because the time before they were acting strangely. I greeted them smiling as Jinwoo and Hyung Min were sitting there. Yeongsoo was swimming already and Chung Min taking selfies beside water.
"Welcome to the new couple," Jinwoo replied as I hid my laugh.
"Dina!" Yeongsoo called me shouting from far and running toward me.
"Oh Yeongsoo! You're already swimming," I pronounced hugging her while she was wet.
"Yeah! come on let's get in both," She held my hand pulling me with her. She had always been excited and so hopeful for everything.
"Oh wait. Not now please," I tried to stop her. I wasn't ready to swim and water was cold.
"Come on! Are you afraid?" She asked sarcastically.
"No of course not but.." I didn't finish my sentence. I shouted just because Yeongi carried me and threw me in the sea after taking off his T-shirt.
"Oh my God!" I got my head out to breath because that happened out of a sudden.
"You're beautiful when you're wet," Yeongi smirked as I blushed then he got in to swim.
"Really?" I looked at him getting his head out and looking at me as water was on his face and his hair was wet bright and so attractive.
"Yeah really. Come," He said pulling me to him.
"Where are we going?" I looked around because I didn't even notice the place where I was swimming.
"Let's go far from here. We almost swim in the sand," He grabbed my hand walking and getting far from them.
"Well! let me show you," I smirked taking off his hand from mine and got inside water going far from him. I got my head out to breathe as I turned to look at him and I didn't find him. I asked myself where did he go and suddenly he got out freaking me out.
"Hey cutie," He smiled hugely and evilly.
"Hell you freak me out."
"Really?"
"Yeah," I was going to look at him until he drown me inside. I couldn't take it I was just under water trying to get out. After a while he got me out. I tried to breathe hardly. I wanted him to stop.
"Did you drink a lot?" He asked.
"No it's just.." I didn't finish until he got me inside water again as I screamed before that and the guys were watching.
"How about now?" He got me out looking at me. He wasn't harsh. I tried to breathe and stop him from doing that again.
"Yeah I did. Please stop," I claimed trying to breathe again.
"Okay. I won't do that again."
Me and him were playing as the guys were sitting and talking and I didn't pay any attention to them. Each time I was with him I kept forgetting everything around. He was the whole world. Taking everything from me. My spirit, my soul, my eyes, my everything. We didn't have lunch that day. I felt so hungry after that. It was the afternoon, about 3 pm. I got out of the beach.
"Hey guys," I said looking at them.
"Hey," Everyone replied.
"You didn't want to get in but when you got in you didn't go out!" Chung Min claimed.
"Yeah. I didn't want to get in that way but.." I laughed then turned my head to look at Yeongi going out of the beach and was a bit far.
"But what?" Jinwoo said.
"But he got me in!" I smiled hugely as everyone laughed.
"You're falling for Mr arrogant remember that!" Yeongsoo claimed.
"Ya! Stop saying that. He isn't arrogant," I looked at her giggling.
"Who's the one who isn't arrogant?" Yeongi came standing up beside me.
"Em.. Someone whom is here with us," I replied turning back to look at him as he was looking at me and everyone was laughing.
"Is it me?" Yeongi asked.
"Of course not! It's Chung Min. I'm talking about Chung Min not you," I interrupted laughing with the guys.
"How could you talk about him not me?" He pronounced madly.
"Uh why not?" I asked smirking sarcastically.
"Hell! Look what you've just said," He replied carrying me again and threw me inside the sea just as the first time while I screamed loudly.
"Yeongi you're gonna regret that!" I shouted after getting out looking at everyone laughing.
"I'm going," Yeongi pronounced holding his phone.
"Where?" Jinwoo asked.
"Where are you going?" I asked looking weirdly at him.
"I'm going to take a shower and have some rest. I'm tired," He faked a smile to me. He was so good at doing that.
"Take care then. I'll stay with them."
He smiled nodding then walking toward the house looking back at me as I smiled to him.
"Wait! I'll come with you," Jinwoo said and followed Yeongi.
"Why both of them left?" Yeongsoo asked.
"Didn't you hear what Myeong Hoon said?" Her boyfriend replied her.
"I did but why Jinwoo left?" She asked again.
"I don't know," I answered.
"We all don't. But I know that Jinwoo prefers to stay with Hoon when they're alone," Chung Min spoke out of blue.
"That's okay! Let's play," I suggested.
"What to play?" They asked wondering.
"Anything just to spend time!" I looked at them all.
"So let's choose," Yeongsoo proposed.
"Em.. How about Truth or Dare and who can't do will be drown by the rest!" I suggested again.
"Sounds fun! Let's play."
We played and had fun while Yeongi and Jinwoo weren't with us. We didn't pay attention that we were so hungry. I was having fun. I thought at first when I met Yeongi that my holidays were going to be boring or it'd be the worst holidays I would have ever had. However, it was the best at all. Falling for him was like flying with him away from everyone. He was the savior and protector and everything for me. He loved me and did everything for me. Filled me up after having that emptiness in my heart. Made me forget pain and tragedies. He showed me how to live, how to love, how to smile and how to be strong whatever happen.
"Let's get in home. It's almost 5 pm," Hyung Min interrupted our playing.
"Oh honey, let's play more," Yeongsoo claimed with a baby voice.
"Darling, we need to get in and have shower then going out to the city at night!"
"But.."
"He is right. Jinwoo and Yeongi didn't show up. It's been two hours guys," I said worrying.
"Ah don't worry. Maybe they're asleep or something like that," Chung Min comforted.
Hyung Min stood up taking the stuffs as Chung Min did while me and Yeongsoo entered to the house finding a new person in the house.
"Hello girls," Haneul started smiling nicely. It was the first time I met her.
"Hi," I replied smiling back while Yeongsoo looked at her angrily.
"What you're doing here?" Yeongsoo asked.
"Well.." Haneul started but Yeongi cut her talk.
"I invited her," Yeongi came closer to me hugging me tight.
"Why you did that brother?" His sister shouted.
"Just like that," He replied coldly still hugging me.
"I'm Haneul. Choi Haneul. Nice to meet you," She looked at me giving her hand to shake mine. She was so beautiful. I was incomparable to her.
"I'm Everdine. Nice to meet you too," I smiled again but was worried. I felt something bad was going to happen and I was sure. My senses had never betrayed me.
"Go to shower my love I'll be here waiting. We're going to have dinner outside," Yeongi pronounced kissing my cheek.
"Yeah sure," I replied with a fake smile because I was worried since that Haneul was there and with both of the guys, Yeongi and Jinwoo.
I went up stairs, to the shower room. I entered to the hot tub and kept thinking. I wasn't feeling fine again. Asking myself what was going on and why I felt something really bad would happen. I didn't know what was it that time. If he would leave me or no. Why would that question got inside my head suddenly! I tried to calm myself down. I wanted to relax. There was something suspicious about them and I couldn't find out any. I was over thinking when I was taking the shower. It was abnormal to have that strange feeling. I was having fun and laughing and everything, then when I suddenly saw her I didn't feel fine. I wasn't comfortable toward her. That was the weirdest thing in there. I got out of the shower looking at my phone. I turned on the network data and waited for updating news. I picked clothes. I wore a dress in pink, a very sweet color which I loved. I released my hair after putting some makeup. I picked my phone to check news. There was a video titled 'Is Park Ji Hye engaged to Choi Myeong Hoon?'. I read only the half of the sentence because I wasn't interested in that so I put it in 'watch later' list. I checked other news then wore my high heels and went down.
"I'm late I know!" I said looking at everybody waiting for me.
"Nope, you aren't. Let's go guys," Yeongi stood up holding my hand and going out first as everyone followed us. He asked me first if I had enjoyed my time and looking at me smiling.
"Yeah but because you weren't with us it wasn't that much fun," I replied looking at him.
"You look so cute and beautiful Dina, the dress fits you," Chung Min said as Haneul looked at him madly.
"Oh thanks Chung Min," I smiled toward him as Yeongi pulled me to him.
"Chung Min," Jinwoo pronounced.
"What?"
"You're gonna die," Hyung Min continued.
"Why?"
"Because you're flirting my girl and that's what I never allow or accept!" Yeongi replied arrogantly as we, the girls, laughed.
"Hell I didn't. I'm saying the truth only. Right Everdine?"
"Yeah, and that's sweet," I smiled looking back at him.
"Are you flirting each other?" Yeongi looked at me feeling jealous.
"No. Of course not! I'm just thanking him for his compliments," I answered with a confused voice.
"Em I see," He looked straight as I kept staring at him.
The strangest thing that I noticed that day was when I got down the stairs with that beautiful dress. Yeongi didn't say anything. Not even a compliment or something like that as it made me feel weird. It was awkward. We went to the city. Hyung Min was holding Yeongsoo's hand and Haneul was walking beside Jinwoo as he was between her and Chung Min. Jinwoo picked a restaurant to have dinner there. We entered and ate quietly. Plates were full and from all kinds. I didn't know what to eat and what not. Suddenly Yeongi's phone rang.
"Choi Myeong Hoon with you," He replied.
"Are you enjoying honey?" Ji Hye asked on phone.
"Hell," Yeongi went outside and continued talking as I was surprised.
"So Everdine, right?" Haneul asked me as I was watching Yeongi going far.
"Yes," I replied smiling.
"Are you here for holidays?"
"Yeah. I was supposed to spend it with my boyfriend but.." I stopped suddenly remembering what happened. I didn't feel hurt as before. However, it was strange to tell her since I had just knew her.
"But what? Aren't you spending it with him?" She asked while Jinwoo looked at her with a very cold and mad look.
"Well, I broke up with him because he cheated on me and I found out that there's.." I didn't finish my sentence because she cut it.
"That there's Myeong Hoon who cares about you and acts sweetly for you just to take you and you took the chance and you accepted to be his doll," She smirked with evil looks.
"How could you say that?!!" Yeongsoo and others shouted at her while I opened my eyes from shock.
"Are you saying that I'm using him to spend my holidays in here?" I asked quietly looking at her angrily.
"No darling. I'm saying that he's using you before he gets married to Ji Hye. I mean are you that much stupid not to check news and see that they're engaged?!" She answered confidently and in a foxy way to let me know of all of those news.
"Huh?!" I opened my eyes from shock and stood up looking at her. I thought she did that just because she wanted to separate us, that time. I had bad intentions toward her and that's why I didn't believe her."How dare you say that to me!!" I got mad and got outside while Chung Min and Jinwoo called my name to stop me. I went out quickly while Yeongi was going to enter the restaurant again. He saw me running away angrily.
"Dina!" He shouted while I ignored everything. He followed me until he held me from my arm.
"What happened?" He asked me quietly as my tears were falling down.
"Nothing. She just.." I couldn't continue talking. I didn't know why I even cried and for those few words she spelled.
"She what? And who's she? Why you're crying!?" He asked holding my face with his two warm hands and wiping my tears.
"Haneul," I turned my face not to look at him sadly.
"Haneul what?" He turned my face to look at him again.
"She told me that.. Well just forget it. She just wants to separate us," I faked a smile and looked apart.
"Dina, listen to me. Whatever you hear, whatever it's true and whatever they tell you about me. Just know that I love you and will love you whatever will happen and whatever they do to push us both away from each other. Do you believe me?" He spoke with a deep voice looking into my eyes as our hearts were beating so fast.
"Yes. I do believe you," I replied nodding and meaning what I said.
"Good. Let's go just both of us, and don't cry again. I will never allow you to cry only on my shoulder and not about any stupid thing okay?" He hugged me tightly as I nodded, feeling so warm inside his arms.
He held my hand walking under that dark sky full of beautiful bright stars like candles in the darkest night. Lights of the city were so attractive. They were from all colors shining on us. I was holding his hand couldn't let it go, couldn't let him go, didn't want to let him go. I kept staring each time at him the whole night long. He showed me a lot of beautiful places. I forgot the world with him. Sinking in his love was safe. It felt warm to cross my fingers to his and playing with them hiding our laughs. I forgot how rude the world was once I was beside him. Hugging him and smile. They weren't wrong when they said that love is a beautiful world which changes us and makes us see the world in a very different way. 'Me and him' wasn't separated, 'me and him' were one, were 'we'. It was one. We were one. That time I started to get back my memory. How I was talking to him and how he was talking to me and only me. His sweet words and his talent in picking words as he was a poet. No, if he wanted to be a poet he would had been the best. We walked to the beach, playing on the sand and taking selfies. We sat in there talking and staring at the stars.
"You see those stars," Yeongi started as he was cuddling me.
"Yeah. They're beautiful and uncountable," I replied looking at him.
"The more they're many the more my love to you is bigger than the whole of them. My love is uncountable," He smiled looking at me closely.
"But still I love you most," I hid my laugh looking above as he kept staring at me.
"I love you mostly," He whispered as I looked back at him then. "Your love is running in my veins," He continued looking at my lips.
"As yours," I whispered looking closely at him as he was getting closer to kiss me. Suddenly his phone rang.
"Myeong Hoon," Jinwoo called him.
"Yeah Jinwoo."
"Did you see Everdine leaving?" He asked.
"Yeah, she's with me since an hour and half why?" Yeongi asked as I looked at him.
"Long story. She's with you and that's the important."
"Yeah we will see you guys later," He cut the call then looked at me. I asked him about who called him and why as he said that it was Jinwoo asking about me. He claimed that I stole everyone's attention.
"But all I wanted was stealing someone's," That was the sentence I replied him with.
"And you stole the whole him."
He smirked hugely getting more closer. Holding my face with his right hand and kissing me deeply under that sky full of shining stars. After a while we went back to Jinwoo's house. He entered first to the living room as I was behind him. I looked at Haneul as she was looking at me and smiling evilly.
"We're back," Yeongi started while he was looking at her first then at me.
"Welcome back dude," Chung Min replied then looked at me. "Everdine! Are you okay?" He continued asking.
"Yeah. Don't worry," I smiled toward him afraid again from that woman.
"Why she would be fine after I told her the truth?" Haneul sarcastically spoke and kept looking at me.
"You told her what?" Yeongi asked madly. I didn't realize his actions. I didn't relate facts to each other.
"What she should have known," She stood up getting closer as Chung Min was staring and Yeongi holding my hand. "Whatever you'll say and whatever you'll do. You won't save yourself Myeong Hoon. You're sinking. Just let everything goes," She continued looking at all of us.
"Stay away from her!" Yeongi was so mad. He was still holding my hand as I stayed quiet.
"We'll see who'll do that!" Haneul replied going up the stairs to a room she picked already.
"Are you okay?" Yeongi turned to hold my face looking inside my eyes.
"Yes. How about you?" I quietly answered. Stupid me never knew all of those things which were happening around.
"When you're fine, I'm fine too," He smiled and kissed my forehead. I still don't know why he was trying so hard to cover things up. It was like hiding sun with one hand. And of course I trusted him enough to believe every word he was saying.
We went up stairs and entered the room. It wasn't ours actually. I didn't know that he would pick a room for him only. That room was so comfortable. A sweet balcony which had a facade on the blue sea, and the beach. It contained some plants beautifully decorated, and in the right side of that room there was a hung chair as it was a swing inside. The bed sheets were white while the pillows were in peach's color. Some pictures of the beach and nature and art ones were on the walls. Yeongi sat on the couch which was put inside the room as I did that. He checked his phone. I didn't take a look I just tied my hair because I felt a bit hot. It was summer of course. He suddenly stood up as I did. The air was changed. His face expressions changed too. Then he acted again.
"Well.." He started.
"Well what?" I asked looking at him worrying.
"I shall leave you to change your clothes. I asked servants to bring clothes for you and I think they're in the closet," He continued nervously.
"Won't you sleep here?" I asked confusedly.
"I have a work to do.. Ahh I just remembered that I must take my laptop. It's somewhere in here since I ordered them to bring it," He was searching in the closet as I was standing there staring at him.
"You can work here you know," I replied rubbing my head. I felt shy. It was like I was asking him to sleep with me. I didn't mean that either. I only wanted him by my side.
"No, you must sleep. I won't bother you," He claimed without looking at me.
"You don't bother me."
"I said no!" He shouted as I stared at him in shock. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean shouting. I'm just a bit nervous," He continued sighing.
"Why nervous?" I asked.
"Nothing. I just have lot of work to do," He turned to look at me then held my shoulder with his left hand and put his other hand on my cheek and caressed my face. "Everdine. I love you so much okay? Sleep tight and have sweet dreams," He kissed my forehead as I told him that love him too.
He held his laptop and went out of the room after I saw a tear going out of his eye and smiled. I put my phone on the table beside the bed. I changed my clothes and wore my pajama then laid down thinking. "Dina, today was so weird. Yeongi was so weird and everyone was weird. What's wrong?" I kept asking myself a lot of questions. I couldn't stop over thinking. "It's okay Everdine. Just think positively. Look at the bright side. You enjoyed today and held his hand and kissed him and hugged him and you made him smile and you smiled and felt happy. That's the thing you wanted to do since long right? You should live the day before tomorrow comes and you should know that it's great that you're alive or you wouldn't do all these things," I kept talking to myself until I fell asleep. '
"Was that where you started to doubt?" I asked after she finished.
"No dear. Imagine you've just started with someone again after being absent for years. However, you kept loving him all that time in your heart but can't remember whom he was. Then suddenly, he shows up in your life and change it upside down. It was horrible for me. I was believing every word he spelled," She smiled sarcastically.
Slowly getting hurt again. I was feeling every word she had said. Words had always affected on me and deeply. She left after that leaving me doubtful. With lot of questions inside my head. It was like a huge cold storm hitting you alone among all people with questions. Why didn't she check that video? What would happen if she checked it? Would that change everything? I mean every detail in her life. That feeling of being out of sight. Everyone knew but her. She was in love and innocent, which made her believing him.
