WITH A SHOP bustling with clients, the day at work was demanding, requiring Adda’s patience and willpower when some of the customers gave her dirty looks for her attire. She had talked about it with the boss the first week and Adda had been assured there were no issues with her wardrobe, however… Some people had a different and louder opinion. When her shift had ended, she didn’t hesitate to close the store and speed up home. The sooner she arrived the sooner she could start looking into Tania’s issue and hopefully give her good news the next day when they hung out.
However, the moment she entered the apartment, she was greeted with an agitated Christian running to the door.
“Quick, have you found something missing?”
Adda stuttered as she tried to understand what was happening.
“I saw William in your room, Adda, check your things, he must have stolen something.”
She dropped the bag by the door and tried to appease Christian with her hands up in front of him.
