“Adda?”
“Adda, sunshine, is everything ok?”
“Adda”
“?”
The message kept getting sent and the check marks instantly appeared, but Adda never replied to the texts. Tania had been typing and waiting for half an hour and still nothing, she only cursed herself for not calling immediately and waiting to leave work before trying to message her again. Tania sighed and let the phone slide down her hands with an unintentional dry noise as it hit the ground. She just couldn’t understand the sudden shift in demeanor. First she didn’t respond, then the calls when she was at the park, then nothing again? Tania shook her head. She was probably overthinking it. Surely Adda wouldn’t ignore her and she was just busy at the moment, maybe sleeping, she told herself. She sighed as she sent one last message, awaiting hopefully a response.
“Want 2 meet tomorrow?”
